So many people try to change the Word of God about salvation. False believers abound.

Salvation is by grace and a free gift. Spiritual growth is how much a follower of Christ puts into studying the Word, spending time with the Lord, and how they handle trials and tribulations. No Paul is NOT saying salvation is by works.

Spiritual growth comes a lot through trials and challenges.

Oh my, lose salvation, works for salvation and to keep salvation. Sounds like a lot of work which won't provide, keep what is freely given

As I was having my devotion this morning, I asked Him why in the world He could be so good to me as undeserving as I am.

Do any of you ever wonder just "why" God loves us so much? I sometimes cannot grasp why He does. But I'm grateful He provided us a way to be His children.

Although I'm thankful for living to be my age, (I'm a cancer survivor), what does that have to do with God's Truth? I do not have to use "scripture" every time for "what's in/on my heart. My "walk" is between me and my Lord. I have full confidence, however, that I could Never do enough...

I don't come on here daily. But it seems every time I do come on, more new names. Oh well, everyone has to be somewhere. I see some of the same ole same ole: Works to keep saved, works to obey, etc. It is Christ within us and His Holy Spirit which produces, not we ourselves.

We are not required to work out our business to be "right with Him." We are called to deliver the message of God's Word in both deed and words. We are His servants but we are made "right with God" through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. Works is NOT what keeps us in His Will.

In my devotion this morning, God wants us to believe and receive, not work and earn. Grace is given along with mercy. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Thank you Jesus for the gift of eternal salvation

Well since there has been discussion about early morning, I have a dilemma. I love early morning but I love late night. Soooo. I do drink Merlot. Now, there you all know that much more about me.

Once saved, always saved is not preaching a "license to sin." Preaching "works" to attain and to keep salvation is against the Truth. One cannot EVER undo what the Creator has done through the Blood of His Only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.

Let me add this: No human can EVER do enough Works to attain salvation. Salvation is a precious gift from God. God did all the work through the death and resurrection of His only Son Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

I say accept Jesus Christ out of Love and wanting to belong to Him; not out of fear of Hell. God wants our love. He tells us to "Fear not" and He tells us He has not given us the "Spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind." I dislike preaching soley about hell fire instead of...

God does the changing of the soul. He takes a soul which surrenders to Him completely and "overhauls" it. You can quote any scripture you like. The meaning will still be the same. The Pharisees found this out.
