I don't think it's up to us to decide which Mitzvot still remain in force and which Mitzvot can be discarded. Jesus preached obedience to the whole law of Moses (613 ordinances)!

I understand why you believe Christians are under the Law: Jesus, during his walk on planet Earth, never told anyone to stop keeping the law of Moses. For a long time Christian Jews continued keeping the law and the Council of Jerusalem only took place some 20 years after the cross.
