Ephesians 2:8–9 reads, "For by grace ye are saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (KJV)

God loves us and had adopted us into His Family... If we misbehave and He corrects us, that doesn't mean He no longer loves us, just like we correct our own children for their actions. We love one another but that does not mean we love all actions by one another. And that means we can love a...

I don't engage in anyone trying to twist my words and certainly not anyone who uses scripture as an "agenda."

Yes, you really are. You are asking me the same thing over and over and I have explained over and over. One can love a brother and still not love their message. You are saying I am wrong. Thus, nothing else left to say. You are mincing words.

God's Word/Will has "always" given us choice. We make bad, good, ugly choices always.

Yep, they love to mince words and change the whole of scripture around and then try the guilt trip if any of us catch it.

I'm not into mincing/deliberating words. You evidently do not understand my post and I never get into arguments over the Lord's Words.

Just what he said. Love others as we are loved. However, do you think Our Lord loves our "bad actions?" That doesn't mean we are not loved. You are still mincing words and not reading my post for what it says.

    Not By Works

I totally agree that we are to love one another but I do not believe we are to love any action perpetrated by a sister or brother which denigrates our Lord. We can love the person yet we can hate any derogatory action. This I stand by firmly. The only way any of us are considered "righteous"...

Did you read my post thoroughly? I said we are to love others as Christ loves us BUT we are not to love their ACTIONS if those actions discredit the Lord. I just have to laugh at those who read and then fill in their very own interpretation of what is being said.

We are to love one another as God loves us but that does not mean we are to love actions when those actions, words, behavior goes against God and His Word. Even though God loves us He does not always love our actions, behavior.

First off, no one has said "works" is not a good thing. 2nd, works have absolutely nothing to do with our salvation. Works will never be righteous until/unless one is saved. The only thing righteous works will be accountable for is how God judges them. Salvation comes from God alone...

You seem to justify salvation, keeping salvation by works only. To me, that's a bad thing. However, think and believe as you wish.

You are misrepresenting my post. Not very nice. Works as in salvation, works as in keeping salvation. I believe you knew that

Works, works, works. It is Grace, Mercy, faith I personally focus on for God. Whatever works I may do will be what He has laid on my heart and what the Holy Spirit has helped me to do.

Love is what we are to show for the human being but love is NOT what we are to show for any human being's false preaching, doctrine, nor any words which changes God's Word.

So now you are limiting scripture to a specific time/place/person. While scripture does refer to such, that very same scripture is to be applied appropriately to current time/place/person. I do not have time to go through every scripture which denote how important FAITH is in the equation of...

The succinct fact here is that Abraham had "faith" that God would work things out because of his great "faith" he knew he could trust God to intervene. After-all, God had promised that through his son a great nation would evolve.
