1 John 3:15 is not saying "love others as we are loved".
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
It is quite clear what John is saying there correct?
You are TRYING TO MAKE SCRIPTURE TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR SIN.

You make sure you have enough clothes, food, and shelter. Any thing less than that YOU SIN.
NO, that is exactly what it is saying. But for a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, that is Automatic, because the AGAPE LOVE, spawns out of HIS AGAPE LOVE HE POURED INTO OUR HEART or Human Spirit. With man that kind of LOVE is impossible, but with THE HOLY SPIRIT IN US, it is entirely Possible.
Romans 5:1-10 (NRSV)

Can you see it now. That GOD's LOVE was Poured into our hearts until it was full. It is the PARENT of GODLY LOVE, and WILL produce the exact same kind of LOVE in us. IT IS A SEED, that will produce the SAME KIND OF LOVE.
You will have to admit to GOD, "I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THE WAY YOU WANT ME TO LIVE, YOU WILL HAVE COME INTO MY HEART AND DO IT THROUGH ME." . If you just PRAYED THAT PRAYER, MEANING EVERY WORD OF IT WITH YOUR WHOLE BEING, THEN TRUST HIM, HE Will Come IN and GIVE you the ABILITY to DO what YOU KNOW you CANNOT DO BY YOUR OWN STRENGTH. In fact, I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THAT,. AND Letting HIM DO IT, are the MOST POWERFUL WORDS I KNOW! Remember, PRAISE HIM, because YOU DID NOT DO IT, HE DID! You will know!
I'm not into mincing/deliberating words. You evidently do not understand my post and I never get into arguments over the Lord's Words.
Amen to that one.....they cannot grasp God loving us in spite of ourselves.
Now that was hilarious.....1 work, 1000 works, 1,000,000 works will never earn, keep, top off, finish, embellish, maintain salvation......ever!Maybe he thinks the rapture is coming next month ... hoping to get some good works in.
Have you noticed how any and all peddlers of false gospels, mistruths or regurgitated non-factual opinion, like Calvinism for example, must skew words, definitions, context etc. in order to redefine the bible to fit their false theology?
For example.
The Calvinites say God made men for hell.
Yet God says, "God would have all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth."
And since that verse proves their error, they will redefine it and say....oh, that is aimed at the super duper Christian chosen that God said will be saved and they have no choice in the matter.
They will all find out one day and it is going to be a bad day for them!

You know...what is the purpose....According to those that follow Calvin, either directly or indirectly, they say God made man "A" for heaven and man "B thru Z" for hell.
So, if that is the case (and it's not) then why use creation and the invisible to testify and make them WITHOUT EXCUSE if they are already doomed and chosen for hell by GOD.......

Yep, they love to mince words and change the whole of scripture around and then try the guilt trip if any of us catch it.
God's Word/Will has "always" given us choice. We make bad, good, ugly choices always.

I just recently found a video on an Orthodox Jewish site, that explains a WHOLE BUNCH on why the JEWS have not started to build the Third Temple. Two videos I think you will want to watch, that I learned a whole lot about Judaism that I never knew before. I Posted them on my site, THIRD TEMPLE NEWS; #1,849 , which states they Need to Anoint a NEW KING, before they can build the TEMPLE. NOW THAT GIVES ME RED FLAGS! The other INFORMATIVE Video is about the the RED HEIFER, #1,894 . Did you know the JEWS believe before they can Build the TEMPLE, they have to have Sacrificed a RED HEIFER outside the Temple Complex in a TABERNAC, on the Mount of Olives, and not come ANYWHERE near a dead Body in the Mount of Olives Graveyard.
