I Will Bless Those Who Always Observe The Sabbath And Do Not Misuse It. I Will Bless Those Who Do Nothing Evil.”

Verse 6 explains to what verse 5 is referring. [I wonder if that not ending a sentence with a preposition rule is still a thing] Well, at any rate, verse 6 is talking about eating or not eating (fasting) on certain days of the week.

I Will Bless Those Who Always Observe The Sabbath And Do Not Misuse It. I Will Bless Those Who Do Nothing Evil.”

I Will Bless Those Who Always Observe The Sabbath And Do Not Misuse It. I Will Bless Those Who Do Nothing Evil.”

I can't think of any that can't be taken any other way than to be saying that observance of the Sabbath is no longer an obligation for Christians.

I Will Bless Those Who Always Observe The Sabbath And Do Not Misuse It. I Will Bless Those Who Do Nothing Evil.”

Are you a Sabbath keeper? No. It's just that the verse can't really be used as a support for teaching that Christians aren't obligated to observe the Sabbath.

I Will Bless Those Who Always Observe The Sabbath And Do Not Misuse It. I Will Bless Those Who Do Nothing Evil.”

I don't see where the verse says anything about the Sabbath. The context of the whole chapter is with regard to drinking and eating practices.

    The Trinity.

Not that it proves anything of course, but with regard to the Trinity I think it's interesting to note that Paul never once includes the Holy Spirit in any of his letter's salutations.

    Three Days and Three Nights

If by Friday you mean the 6th day of the week, then you meet the first requirement for this topic. Next, do you think that the "heart of the earth" is referring to the tomb?

That would be an issue for a different topic. Perhaps you might start one.

    Three Days and Three Nights

It's the "or not" one. This topic is directed to those who believe that the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week, and think that the "heart of the earth" is referring to the tomb and try to explain the lack of a 3rd night time by saying that the Messiah was employing common figure...

As We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath As A Sign Between Him And Us Being Holy/Scripture

Just was pointing out where we have studied from the scriptures, have you noticed? Of course and I still don't see what it has to do with my question.

As We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath As A Sign Between Him And Us Being Holy/Scripture

montana123 wrote "...the Bible says let no person judge you by telling you to keep the physical sabbath". I assumed he was referring to the above passage, and I don't see where it says that - at least in the KJV and similar versions.

    Three Days and Three Nights

Since it appears that you are not a believer in a 6th day of the week crucifixion, you probably have no reason to know of examples which is the issue of this topic.

Why do you need those questions answered in order to know whether or not you believe that the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week?

    Three Days and Three Nights

I answered your off-topic questions in the yet to be approved topic. So now, how about answering my question because if you are not a 6th day of the week crucifixion advocate, then this topic does not apply to you.
