    Revival @ Asbury?

I think you are approaching it from the wrong angle. Invariably when something like this happens there are plenty of people who have not experienced a revival and are good at telling us the negatives. Lets hear the good news about it

Testing the spirits and the Asbury 'revival'

Interesting that when God decides to do something man cannot control it is always suspect but we don't challenge anything that is man-made and directed and obviously not from God. Your comment above is rather sweeping and judgmental as there are myriads of different expressions of Pentecosal...

    The GIFT of Languages

Like so many topics here, we get taught by people who have no experience with the subject matter. All they are doing is repeating what they have been told to believe. The best way to learn is to keep an open mind even when you are convinced about something as a new revelation may come up which...

    Whom Did Christ Die For?

I was asked for my views on universal salvation and had to admit I had not delved too deeply into the subject, so I got my books out to take a look at it. Here are some of my thoughts on the matter. Universal salvation is not valid because if it is then one has to accept people like Hitler...

    MALE and FEMALE

Yesterday there was a full-page article on the subject in my daily newspaper. Apparently, the whole transgender edifice is crumbling. Experts involved are questioning what they are doing and pointing out that the problem is not gender dysphoria, it is things like morbidity in other areas such as...

You are unaware of the way unis work. If I do a master's or Ph.D. then my work might be published if they are written for the purpose of having it published. If they are not, they will not be published. They will be read and assessed by my tutor and cross marked by another lecturer but nothing else.

    MALE and FEMALE

As yet I have not seen any experts laying it at the feet of endocrine-disrupting chemicals. As to your last POINT everyone who needs to discover the risen Christ needs compassion.

    MALE and FEMALE

I am convinced the whole transgender thing is a beat-up by Satan to distort the truth of God's word. In Genesis chapter 1 v 26 it says that God made them male and female. (That is you and me). And in doing this he made us in the image of himself. There are many other verses that concur with...

Does the Bible prophesy a cashless society?

No, we don't have pennies here. Maybe pennies from heaven but that is about all.

Do we need the "spiritual elite?"

In Ephesian 4: 11 one of the ministries Jesus gave to the church is that of a teacher. The reason he gave the ministry of a teacher is that the church needs the ministry of a teacher to fulfill its mission. The same as it needs apostles, prophets, evangelists and shepherds. One of the reasons...

    Open home? Christian hospitality

FYI I live in a world where the church is no longer the church because it ignores most of what the scripture teaches. Those things are relevant because they are the sort of things people do that prevents them from meeting from house to house daily. In a vast number of churches, the people meet...
