    Slain in the spirit?

I wasn’t. That’s what you don’t get. Satan wasn’t involved. Demons weren’t involved. Just because my experience doesn’t conform with your understanding doesn’t mean it was demonic. Given that I have experienced these things personally, your dismissal is nothing short of ridiculous.

Are giants the offspring of angels and humans?

A few thoughts… Sons of God and angels aren’t necessarily the same thing (so all the restrictions on angels are irrelevant). “Angel” is a role, not a species. Just because angels don’t marry in heaven doesn’t mean they can’t, nor that they are physically unable to reproduce with humans. The...

    Slain in the spirit?

I agree: Peter got things very wrong sometimes. However, he was corrected the other times he was wrong. This time he wasn't corrected. :)

    Slain in the spirit?

You know not of what you speak, therefore it would be better if you remained silent.

    Slain in the spirit?

We could debate that, but we both need to read Josephus first. :)

    Slain in the spirit?

After I "fell" under the power of the Holy Spirit, I was giddy with laughter for about a half hour. No demonic thoughts, desires, inclinations or influences whatsoever. Remember, it's usually the fault-finders who are quick to denigrate what they have not experienced and do not understand...

    Slain in the spirit?

Actually, it does, in Acts 2. Peter quotes that exact passage, saying (in reference to the filling they had just experienced), "This is what was spoken by the prophet Joel." It couldn't be more clear. ;)

    Slain in the spirit?

Wrong. I have experienced this "falling" personally, and nobody was close enough to push me. I've observed it many times when the person was not pushed.

    Slain in the spirit?

No. Nuclear fusion isn't explained in Scripture. Successive physiological effects of extended fasting aren't explained in Scripture. Being in a state of complete surrender to the Lord isn't explained in Scripture.

    Slain in the spirit?

It's a colloquialism. Get over it. When someone is so relaxed under the power of the Holy Spirit that they are essentially unresponsive, they are described as "slain in the Spirit". No, it doesn't mean "dead" so all speculation and contrasting with "life" is irrelevant.

    Slain in the spirit?

Such behaviour (by the pastor and henchmen) is highly inappropriate but doesn't, by itself, prove that all such experiences are "of the devil". ;)

God had given us a commandment the Tithes & Offerings. How people today followed the commandment?

So an analogical application of the OT results in abandoning sound hermeneutical principles? Sorry, but a boat that doesn’t float in the real world doesn’t float better in an analogy.

Isn't it that the commandments of God is for everybody?

Um, no. Hebrews 7:12 says, “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” (‭KJV‬‬)

God had given us a commandment the Tithes & Offerings. How people today followed the commandment?

When you find Paul’s missing letter in which he states that paying tithes to the local church is required, you will have a sound case. In the meantime, your position is without scriptural foundation. ;)

    Crumbling marriage

Something else I remembered after posting my previous reply: after my marriage ended, I found the daily devotional from DivorceCare.org to be encouraging and helpful. :)
