    German Government Collapse

God gives life. Those who obey the command to be fruitful and multiply will always be cared for by God. What He creates, He also makes provision for. Look not upon your circumstances, but behold God.

    Question about the Trinity

I understand the doctrine of the Trinity in terms of what the Bible says. But neither I, you, or anyone else fully understands that God is both One and 3. Neither can you explain what it looks like that Jesus is begotten. And you can't explain it because you don't know what it means. You don't...

    Question about the Trinity

You didn't explain anything. You simply kept repeating words without explaining.

    Question about the Trinity

You can't explain in your own words what begetting is when it comes to Jesus or tell me how it happened or its process, but you think you understand the Trinity. The fact is, we can use words that are biblical without understanding them completely.

    Question about the Trinity

I'm not looking for any examples. I want to know what the Father begetting the Son consists in. I know what a man begetting a son looks like and how it occurs. How does God beget a Son, and how does that occur?

    Question about the Trinity

You can't even tell me what the process of begatting is. How did it happen? What does it consist in? What does it look like?

    Apologetics: witnessing to atheists

Right...your point was irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Perfection was not the issue, but how commandments can be kept. And Paul didn't co-found the NT. The Spirit is the lone author. And while I believe the Apostle to be an incredible person and probably a devout and holy man, my guess...

    Question about the Trinity

Again, being the best one available doesn't make it complete or authoritative. I like the creed and it does clarify many issues of the faith, but it doesn't explain the entirety of the Godhead in substance or reality. In this regard, it is neither absolute or complete.

    Question about the Trinity

All this may be true, but most thorough doesn't mean absolute nor complete.

    Question about the Trinity

That's only if you believe the creeds encompass all there is to the Trinity. The creeds are fine in that they lend and foster understanding, but to suggest that they or any other source brings absolute clarity is a leap too far for me.

    Apologetics: witnessing to atheists

My original post wasn't about my own sinfulness, but whether or not it was possible to live sinlessly. So why would I mention whether or not I personally still sin. It wasn't relevant to the post. Nor have I made a claim that I live sinlessly continuously. But by your own admission, you posted...

    Question about the Trinity

There is nothing created that is analogous to the Godhead. God is One. God is 3 in One. We don't have to understand it. Simply believe it by faith. None of us were there at creation. Hebrews 11:3...Through faith we understand that the world's were framed by the Word of God... Likewise...

    Apologetics: witnessing to atheists

So Paul did believe it was possible to live sinlessly. And that's all I stated. Now...if you apply the same scrutiny to yourself that you apply to me, you can put that newfound beam to better use.
