Do you have to believe Jesus rose from the dead specifically on the third day to be saved?

Yes that kind of what I meant - albeit its not that simple as its always been recoded as Friday, was the Sabbath on a Saturday or a special sabbath (something which was argued much later) did he eat the Passover meal or not etc... and there is no evidence of when Jesus rose, being placed in a...

Do you have to believe Jesus rose from the dead specifically on the third day to be saved?

Jesus is said to have died around the ninth hour (3pm) - if he died on Wednesday how do you get 3 days and 3 nights? Would Thursday not be a better fit?

Do you have to believe Jesus rose from the dead specifically on the third day to be saved?

I understand 1 Cor 19 - 'scriptures' relates to OT not NT as there was no NT at the time

Do you have to believe Jesus rose from the dead specifically on the third day to be saved?

With respect Exodus and Numbers have nothing to do with Jesus - thats at best a misrepresentation worst a manipulation. Might as well link Gen 31:22- And Laban was told on the third day that Jacob had fled. And so many other passages.

Who or what is the Holy Spirit?

I presume you take 'Advocate' as being the HS - please assist - why would Jesus have to go away for the HS, when it has been here since the beginning and during Jesus time?

    One World religion

Of course, people are going to have hatred - when the Europeans went all around the world murdering, persecuting, looting, dividing / drawing lines on maps over dinner and placing puppets to govern their interest. Including non-Muslim countries - we can see the causes of this - wars happening...

Interesting you should say 'murderers will not inherit God's kingdom' - you seem very pro-Israel genocide, in the allegedly promised land. There also destroying churches and killing Christians. See Israel Christian perspective Look at history, Christians & Jews were treated very well under...

    Israel Declares War

any passages to back up your opinion – your saying that any one called ‘son’ means heir – there is all so the issues of 'firstborn' has rights maybe you could help with this as well; Gen 21:15 - When the water in the skin was gone, she put the child under one of the bushes. Ishmael must have...

Orthodox Jew answers a few questions

    1) interesting, look forward to the rabbi's response. 2) Deut 10 does imply someone looking back - so someone else probably did finish it - point noted, but then it should not be attributed to Moses

Orthodox Jew answers a few questions

Hi - on another note something on one of the other chats which you maybe be able to help; Genesis 22:2 - 'your only son Isaac' - how would you explain only son when God would know how many sons Abraham has and confirms Ishmael as ‘thy seed’ & make into a ‘great nation’. You may also be able to...

    Israel Declares War

point is says only one son - God knows he has 2 sons and considered Ishmael as 'thy seed' as well - Gen: 21:13 - if it said your promised son fair enough, but it doesn't.

Gods word yes and God is all knowing - no doubt - I didn't say everything about Moses, the point being God would know if Abraham had one or 2 sons - see #4467

    Israel Declares War

nope my comment has been very misunderstood. Genesis 22:2 - I don’t understand how 'your only son Isaac' - God would know how many sons Abraham has and confirms Ishmael as thy seed & make into a great nation. That’s the point I was making so causes a conflict. You may also be able to help me...
