    God's Ordained Feasts

The Feasts are not part of a national law given to the Jews, but to all of God's people which includes Christians today. And even though the legal punishments of sin have been done away with, we still have the opportunity to walk in the ways God call us to. Not out of legal obligation, but in a...

Question about women in the church.

And you are welcome to your opinion. I believe you take those Scriptures out of context, but that is your own personal viewpoint. We should be diligent in rightly dividing which Scriptures are for the Body at large, or the specific and local gatherings, which I believe applies to the Scriptures...

Question about women in the church.

My church currently has a female Head Pastor and a Male Associate Pastor for the ~20 years the church has been in existence, we've had men as the Head Pastor and Associate Pastor (which I was for about 16 years.) The verses in Corinthians and Timothy about women not teaching are usually taken...

    God's Ordained Feasts

The Fall Feasts are my favorite times of the year. So much annointing and revelation every year. Plus, a ton of fun as well!

    Church Discipline

We've only had a couple of instances of the full-blown Matthew 18 church discipline process. But we've had to ask a handfull of people to take a season away from the church while they work on particular issues in their life of their family's before they can come back into the corporate fellowship.

    Church buildings

As a follow- up, Acts 15 talks about the basic commands and instructions new Believers needed so that they could go and hear God's Word. Acts 15:19-21 19 “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write...

    Church buildings

I see no issue with buildings as long as there is a vision for them. There are many benefits to having a central building where a lot of ministry opportunities happen. There is a central place where pastors, leaders and ministers can be to work together for the Kingdom. It also provides a...

Dietary laws, do you keep them?

Yet our Messiah says otherwise. Matthew 5:17-19 17“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18“For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is...

Dietary laws, do you keep them?

I don't believe He has nullified them. If God created unclean animals unfit for eating, they always will be.

Dietary laws, do you keep them?

I think obedience to God's instructions are very important, whether in the Old Testament or New. Does obedience to those thing impact my salvation? No. But walking within God's blessing brings a natural blessing in itself.

Dietary laws, do you keep them?

I do keep the feasts as best as I can. (No physical sacrifices needed today. Jesus became that sacrifice.) Our church spends 8 days camping at our church property in tents, campers, RV's etc. The instruction regarding Tabernacles refers to temporary dwellings. My wife and I spent 1 year in a...

Dietary laws, do you keep them?

Nope. The Believer is the living temple in which God dwells today. And as Jesus is the High Priest, it's His job to administer whatever discipline He sees fit.

Dietary laws, do you keep them?

I do. Not for the purposes of salvation, but to walk in grateful obedience to the God who saved me. And that's aside from the health benefits that come with it. Turns out, God knew what He was doing when came up with the dietary laws.

The Law Is Out Of Date And Will "SOON DISAPPEAR"?

It's important to consider which perspective of the law disappearing we're talking about. If by the law you mean the law of sin and death which results in eternal separation because of disobedience, that has expired. But if by the law we mean instructions on how to live, that doesn't disappear...

Do we know how Yeshua lived his life?

So which Jesus should we believe? The one who says the Law should be taught until heaven and earth pass away? Or your version of Luke 16:16? Other versions of that verse say that the Law and Prophets were proclaimed until John. And keep in mind, Jesus was saying to the Pharisees who were trying...

The Torah is Still Binding and We Must Obey It

So does this mean that commiting physical adultery is ok, since the higher law of lust and mental adultery overrules the literal law? Instead, maybe we should still follow the literal law in addition to Jesus' expansion of it.

Do we know how Yeshua lived his life?

Absolutely. That's what I meant when I said a "greather and deeper understanding of Torah."
