So I finally fully quit Facebook

I didn't like the garbage on fb either or the way people would comment and be rude and they didn't even know the person. I deleted fb about 10 years ago. I do IG instead and keep it on private. Only my family and friends I choose. Its worked out great. Good luck on here meeting people!

Very General; What it Takes to Have a Good Marriage

I was very happily married for over 30 years and my husband passed away 7 years ago. I can tell you that we had the most wonderful, loving, fun, exciting marraige . I can tell you that in our marraige there was God, complete trust, amazing love and lust for each other, consideration for each...

    Women cooking is evil, y'all

I love making a beautiful meal for the people I love. I know that they love doing things for me too. I do get frustrated when I hear single women say they just cannot find a good man, and they're so done! I think that's really unfair. There are lots of really good men and they are very happy to...

Does anyone have any spicy/flavorful recipes?

Lettuce wraps are easy, quick and delicious. I buy chicken tenders (quick and easy, not expensive), bottle of Sweet Chili sauce, butter or red leaf lettuce, fresh bean sprouts and I grate carrot. Saute some sweet onions in evoo, add bite size pieces of chicken, saute. Add spices. I add s&p...

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

Is bf a boyfriend? If so, no. never. When I was in school, all the boys were afraid of my brothers, but then I met my husband and they loved him. So, I always told my husband he married a really good girl! We were happily married for over 30 years and he passed away 7 years ago. But no, he...

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

And yes, about being a fighter. I've been boxing for a long, long time and besides being a coach and teaching, I do private security. No fear.

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

Well, you could have asked God that. You know you can ask Him anything. And , not only 6 brothers, but 6 older sisters! I'm not kidding. And oh yeah, I'm tough. Since I was considered the spoiled baby by my sisters, I hung out with my brothers. I went to football games, played 3rd base way too...

    What are you listening to?

I haven't lstened to this band, but I'll ck them out on you tube. I'm all about rocking with some ska or any kind of music I can dance around and be praising God too. Its a great day when you can spend it with a bunch of people that love God, dancing on the grass on a summer day ! I've gone to...

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

I got in a lot of trouble for asking too many questions. I think I felt the same way about church. I went because I had to go. But I would ask a million questions. Things didn't make sense and things were not fair. Not when I saw so much wealth and my family helped so many other families in our...

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

I don't think I was trying to escape when I was little. I just liked reading. My Dad would bring me travel books and we would sit together on the couch and go through them. I used to ride my bike to the library since I read every book we had at home. I go into the library at the elementary...

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

All the time!!!! I think I would fail at that job because i would be wandering through the rows of books and not happy sitting at a counter checking out books. I L-O-V-E books. When I was little, I used to read everything I could get my hands on, from the back of cereal boxes, leafing through...

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

No, I haven't read that. I think its healthy to discover what you can do to give hope and more happiness to your life. Was the book about the person that tattooed the prisoner numbers?

    THE FEARS OF GROWING OLD

I guess that miserable can be on their dating profile and they can meet their match. What a bummer. And yes, I think I've always been pretty positive. Theres always been something good in my life. Even if it was just a yummy coffee or warm sunshine on a cold day, how can I say its all bad?

    Advice for a close friend.

In all of this, I think the most important thing is that he's seeing his kids, loving them and spending quality time together. Consistently. His kids will remember this forever, that their Dad was always there for them. It will be hard to be the 'bigger' person in the relationship, letting go of...
