The context was and is about Abraham, yet I think it is for us all in belief, that do not take any of it for granted and misuse this amazing gift given
In other words, we that are Father's children given to us by Son's resurrection where the new life is at, We have the "Power"

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Are we listening and thinking I can do anything?

Romans 15:17
I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
1 Peter 4:11
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

so, now we each see we have the Power, yet how shall we each use this power?

In Daddy's, PaPa's, Father's timing or our own thinking as we think we want or need?

Let's see, Moses in leaving Egypt and pharaoh chasing after them all.
Did Moses cause the fire to stop them or did God do that through Moses?
Did the Red Sea part by Moses or by Father through Moses, not known as Father yet then?
What I am saying is:
2 Peter 1:3
according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Fear, anger, worry are distractions from the truth of God's love for us all to be new in these bodies presently lead by Father, the same as Jesus was during his entire ministry for us to see it, no fear, overcame death for us all, that is doe in son, Son said so in John 19:30. as, he went willing to die once for all flesh and blood (Heb. 10:10), then risen on the third day, where Daddy, gives new life in his risen Son for us to be willing to be led new by Daddy, Father, PaPa too, thank you (The Holy Spirit of truth)
Ready, willing go, this is between Father, Son and you personally above everything else first.
In God we are accepted, forgiven, Loved and sealed to see new, as we make mistakes along the way, we by God, remain forgiven by God, thanks to Son's done work first, so we can do new as agree to do, done by God through us at least me thank you
I no longer live Gal. 2:20, anyone else? Trust God, be new and not see it at first. Therefore continue as called to se it in Col 1 and 2, thank you

I think so. All her enemies have been trying to wipe her people out every generation and they're still here, especially now that God has brought them back to their land. Every war against them gives them an unexpected benefit like in the 6-Day War, they were able to recapture the old city sector of Jerusalem thus reunifying that area.

And even though her enemies have been working very hard to get the whole world to hate her and not support her, she's been doing well defending against them.

So it's honestly amusing to see her enemies try only to get their butts kicked time and time again!

Yes, absolutely I believe this to still be true.

25For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own [f]opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26And so all Israel will be [g]saved, as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”
28Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they arebeloved for the sake of the fathers. 29For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

Do you also think the Lord will bless those who bless Israel?

Is it still in effect?

Yes. This is why the enemy is trying so hard to turn the US against her. They're even trying to turn Christians away from supporting her, but the Christians won't. They love and support Israel because God loves and support her.

Yes. I'm English. Britain betrayed Israel even before she declared independence in 1948. The British sent Jews away from Israel by restricting Jews from settling in what was called Palestine. Those Jews had to return, mostly to Europe. Countless perished during the holocaust. Britain withdrew from "Palestine" and left the Jews to their fate. They did nothing to help the new nation overcome their enemies. God does not need the nations and Israel prevailed. America was the first nation to recognise Israel. America's support has been strong. America has prospered. The British embraced the Muslim nations. The once "Great" Britain is broke, anti Christian, controlled by Muslim interests and has never recovered from the Brexit disaster.

My parents did me the greatest of favours by emigrating. Britain is a beautiful place, but could easily become a Muslim republic in the next 25 years or so. Only a great revival could stop the rot. My last visit was in 2016. I doubt I'll ever visit again.

Oh that's so sad! I watch a lot of British TV and I love how each region looks. I want you to be comforted in knowing that when this is all over and Jesus reigns, you will be able to visit Britain again and enjoy it's beauty and even the good parts of British culture and food, etc.

I'm from the Philippines and so many parts of it is SO MESSY. I HATE visiting it! But I'm definitely coming back after this age to help clean it up and have it properly developed. I want it to look gorgeous like Hawaii!

Sometimes I think about how these principles apply to our spiritual journey and daily challenges.

From Augustine to Luther to modern theologians, Christians have wrestled with understanding how our actions relate to God's work through us. The Moses example given here touches on what theologians call "instrumental causality" - humans as instruments through which God accomplishes His purposes.

I particularly appreciate the emphasis on Galatians 2:20 - "I no longer live." This paradox of Christian identity - dying to self while being more fully alive in Christ - recalls what Richard Rohr calls the "transformed self." This represents a shift from an ego-centered to a Christ-centered understanding of identity.

Thank you for sharing these reflections on how God works through us when we yield to Him.

The saddest part about Britain is how far it has fallen. Some of the truly great men of God were from Britain. Many nations were blessed by missionaries. Sure, there were plenty of not so good aspects as well. But Queen Victoria raised a Bible and declared that it was the Bible that made Britain great.

British food.............. no wonder my parents emigrated. My dad was a Chef.

I will bless those who bless you,
thier covenant held either a blessing if they obeyed or a curse if they didn’t they chose the curse and it lead to the abomination of desolation consider this parable regarding isreal

“Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

and when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. ( early prophets )

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. ( latter messianic prophets)

But last of all he sent unto them his son, ( Jesus messiah ) saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same is become the head of the corner: This is the Lord's doing, And it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”

There was never a promise to physical Israel through Abraham.

The promise to physical Israel came at Sinai only and that was through the law. While it was supposed to be the time in which all national Israel came into the covenant of promise, they did not come into the presence of God and instead sent only Moses. Because of that transgression, the law was added to them. Then, instead of a people of promise, they became slaves, beholden to God and owned by Him. That's what happens in a covenant when one party keeps their side of the bargain and the other does not keep their side. Because God gave them life, He then owned their lives.

Paul revealed to us that "In Isaac shall your seed be called" and then "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ".

So, everywhere we read "descendants" in the promise scriptures, it is referring to Christ. Paul, by the Holy Spirit, revealed this to us.

This is not replacement theology as some like to say: "Not all of Israel is Israel". "Israel", according to God, has always been the Body of believers, by faith, who are in Christ. If they died in faith, then they witnessed His appearing when He descended to preach to them. Those were the captives led in His train.

This has always been true: that those only of faith would inherit the promises.

The hope of the world is in Him alone. And, in Him, being a physical Jew does not benefit you in any way.

Yes, the US, Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand and all the British commonwealth nations were blessed for sure because of the many servants of God from Britain.

British food did get a nice flavor boost from adopting some of the food from the nations they conquered back in the day, so it's not that bad, lol!

I find it amusing that the evidence for physical Israel and the Jews for being "God's chosen people" is that they win the wars they fight.

Instead, we should total the devastating loss of their sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, in every battle. Because of their unbelief they have no peace and are surrounded by their enemies.

Furthermore, their physical strength is bolstered by their attachment to the United States and other democratic governments: their war machine is superior to those of their enemies. This machine, likewise, has killed countless Arabs who, according to scripture, are those to whom the gospel must go (as Gentiles) before Israel can even hear the sound of Christ.

Yet, many "church" people in the US celebrate physical Israel's wins at the cost of the lives of people who are currently marked for salvation. The US church has created an unholy amalgamation of death machines + patriotism + God. This is why most are blind to what God is doing in the earth: they measure true success according to its benefit to the United States and attribute each victory to a move of God. Just writing that makes me think of vomiting, which is the result of losing one's usefulness to the Living God.

You can curse Israel all you want (with consequences per what the Bible says) and have disdain for those who support her. It wouldn't matter. The only thing that matters is that God IS defending her and blessing her . He's doing that to protect the Jews in it that will become Christians and/or one of the 144,000. He's not protecting all the ungodly Jews for themselves.

Why would you say that? No one cursed anyone, except God letting the curses befall physical Israel, who are still under a curse. But you've been conditioned to oppose someone who believes the revealed wisdom of scripture regarding the Seed and Christ.

You weren't in a vacuum when you gained your understanding about physical Israel: your circle taught you these things. Just like your circle taught you that a building can be called a church and that pastor-centered congregations are Biblical.

You should try reading you Bible. God has much to say about Israel and the last days. God's enemies bring judgement on themselves. Do you know any history at all? Do you not know that Israel was created in effect by the British, who legally controlled what was known as Palestine? Do you not know that 5 nations on Israel's border attacked Israel the moment she declared (legally) independence? No nation has been under such sustained attack for so long.

You want to read what Derek Prince has to say about Israel. He was living there when independence was declared. I suppose you think that America should never have gone to war with Britain, or the nations should not have defended themselves against Nazi Germany.

Muslims follow the ideals of a mass murdering paedophile. What is the difference between Hitler and Mohamed? Hitler was not a paedophile and had no religious mania. Apart from that, not much at all.

The gospel is preached to Muslims. How receptive are they? It is illegal to preach to them at pain of death in most Muslim countries. It is illegal for a Muslim to convert or forsake Islam. Again, the punishment is death.

Islam is losing credibility in many places. One reason is the inability of Muslim countries to destroy Israel. I ask them sometimes, if your Allah is so great, how come Israel has yet to be destroyed? Make no mistake, that is Islam's agenda. Iran's Shia denomination believes that Israel must be destroyed before their version of the Messiah can come.

I'll tell you what makes me sick. Muslim rape gangs operating with impunity in a so called Christian country. Pro terrorist protestors demonstrating while the police harass Christians legally witnessing. Muslim leaders refusing to condemn terrorism.

Islam is the work of the devil, a work which Jesus was revealed to destroy. And Islam will be destroyed. As for Muslims, if they repent and choose Jesus, they will be saved like anyone else.

I suggest that you listen to Mosab Hassan Yousef. He is a son of the co-founder of Hamas. He will tell you the truth about Hamas, Israel and what is going on in the region.

Do you also think the Lord will bless those who bless Israel?

Is it still in effect?
Yes. Besides God's promise to Abraham, Jacob also received a similar blessing from Isaac that those who bless him would be blessed and those who curse him would be cursed (Genesis 27:29). Balaam also prophesied that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed (Numbers 24:9).

Whether or not Israel is obedient does not change the consequences for other people who bless or curse Israel.
