The law and prophets and how Jesus is the fulfillment of them.
Is it not the foundation of faith in Jesus?

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Acts 16:31
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

The foundation is always Jesus and what he has done.
That is his is sacrfice on the cross, his resurrection for the forgiveness of sins.
Build on that then there is a problem.

Paul addressed this in

1 Corinthians 3:11-15
11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

I agree and that is how Satan is able to deceive the whole world unless we put on the mind of Christ, the breastplate of salvation and the whole armor of God!
we also need to find a body of christ, and get deeply involved. I had to found out how bad it can be the hard way for not doing this, Your left open to attack with no supportIt almost took me out

Are you saying that Hebrews verses does not apply to us because we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness?
Confession is to God not of ourselves, it is to say, God I need you and God to say to you, God's grace is sufficient for you. It is not of you to be good enough, no-one is. That is why God, sent Son for us all to clean the slate in getting you reconciled, by his one time willing death to give you new life in God's risen Son for us all, to believe and thus do new, by the done work of Father's risen Son for you. Which is at the start of God's sealing you in God and Son as Won (One) for you from day one anyone decides to believe God (Eph 1:13). This takes time to not quit ( not give up) belief to this truth of Father and Son for us all. When anyone will believe God in this amazing grace given. Then you will grow up in maturity to God and simply do without any interest in getting anything, here on earth you might want or have wanted, trusting God knows best for you too, whether or not you get wealth you might ask or have asked for, Father knows best. God sees and knows who is who and will do accordingly to let us know, God does just love us all. Otherwise Son would not have done what is is done for us to get new life given us in belief to his done work for us. Not ever to be taken for granted, rather appreciated in responding to it in thanksgiving and praise over it. sincerely
To rest and let go of this earth and all its wanting. To stand fast in trust to God to get you through it all. That is Faith filled from you to God between God and you
Therefore are you willing to die here and now, between God and you, that might be why you are not getting what you might want. What I have wanted in the past and got in spite of being told no, I found out it was not good for me and so now I see to simply agree with God who knows what is best for me, even if I do not think so. That is truth for us all

If so we cannot lose our salvation, yet @SavedByBlood seems to say that we can lose salvation and then get it back because Jesus comes for us (lost sheep).
Have you ever considered was not saved yet to begin with, had to learn from the errors given him, by people doing their own selfish works for their own selfish gains? Phil 3
Yet, God saw that person as sincere as God saw this about Saul who became Paul, amazing yes?

Sorry but I cannot see how this applies to the question I asked.
Am I missing something

Nope cause we cannot judge that.
Yes it's very possible that false doctrine has been told but that does not mean you are not saved if one believes as Paul dictates in Romans.
This thread is an example, NOT SAVED BY WORKS.

It sounds like you are saying you agree you can lose your salvation because you
did, but then you tell a story that does not sound like you lost your salvation.

John 6:37
:)
If I may, how do you explain the warning passages about apostasy, departing from the living God, name wiped from the book of life in Revelation 3:5 and other verses like that?

Also, im still interested by what you said about molinism. If I make a thread about it, will you contribute and answer my questions about it? There is informatioun found on google but I have questions regarding particular verses. I read they believe in both free will of the creature and also God predestinating, but the way God does it is thru middle knowledge, He knows what choices a person will make and knows counterfactuals, I find that interesting and who knows maybe its the right way to marry the two, free will and predestination. Are you a molinist? Would you contribute to my thread if I made one? @Magenta

If that's the case why does not Jesus search out those in Hebrews?
Hebrews is for the First chosen to read and hear and know truth. As only those that are sincere will hear and grow new in this grace given the, if they see Hebrews 5:12-Chapter 6 and see verse 3 of 6, if God permits, might be time to ask and stop being worried over stuff here and now, Matthew 6
Read Hebrews as if one of the first chosen that failed, to see it is done as said by Son in John 19:30, leaving=, left only one choice left
To beleive God or not believe God consciously. Stop the Hot and Cold, stop the doubt(s) that keep anyone from being established in Father and Son as won for you too.
Isaiah 7:9

Revelation 3:5
5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

That doesn't say he has wiped them from the book of life.

Personally, I am not denying you believe God or not. That is between God and you, not me or anyone else and you
Romans 8:15-16, and you know, so if you believe God, then you have nothing to worry over do you?
Amen as we each share in care one to the other that the King has won for us to be new by Faith to God, it is done for us to be new. without belief to that, one will get caught up in doubt and try to do law and will bounce in and out, as has been being taught for centuries now after the resurrection to stop people from entering in.
Either it is done for you too or it is not yet by your beleif to this truth it is done John 19:30.
unless it gets settled in any person that it is done by Son for them, then one cannot walk new yet until one says thank you it is done for me to be new, I accept Father, thank you

Those who wont overcome will be blotted out. If they are blotted out can they be brought back in? Hebrews seems to indicate no, Prodical son parable and the old testament examples of Israel going to baal worship and still called back seem to indicate yes.

This looks like you are making this personal about me?
If that's the case then you don't know me.
Just read some of my posts this evening.

You cannot seem to grasp the question I asked concerning Hebrews which I asked @SavedByBlood yet you answered to me (that's not an issue that you did) yet you seem infer that maybe I don't.

Your response to me maybe should have been directed to @SavedByBlood whom I believe is saved.

It doesn't say it, I would have thought it would say their names would be blotted out.

When were the names put in the book of life?
Based on what you think all are in then some are tipexed out?
Was not Hebrews addressed to Isreal?
If so then they cannot be called back except for the ramnente.
