Now I can't even look forward to bear meat!
Well, you could adjust to it slowly by pairing it with your signature dish....voila......Bearritos!

Hope I can't get banned for bad puns, if so I'm toast...........

If I cover it with enough melted cheese and hot sauce, I might not taste it. Your suggestion is viable.

My taste bud paranoia is growing. Perhaps I should stick to my rule of not eating meat that comes out of water. It can only taste like fish.
Wait, what?

Smoked mussels don't taste anything like fish. I have, like, 70 tins of the stuff. (Found a good deal and bought a lot.)

Then there's lobster, oysters, shrimp, octopus, scallops... Mmm, scallops...

Lots of stuff from the water tastes nothing at all like fish. Especially scallops, lightly sauteed in butter, with a bit of tarragon perhaps...

I'm pretty sure my taste buds are defective because every meat I've tried that comes from water all tastes the same. So I just say it tastes like fish since fish is the first thing I tried that tasted that way. They all taste like the smell of the disgusting waters I used to fish in.

Now I have soooo many questions...

Like, what were you doing fishing if you hate the taste of fish?

(Nota bien: You can stop answering my nosy questions and tell me to buzz off at any time.)

Lol I don't mind answering questions. I went fishing with friends just for the sake of hanging out. We always did catch and release anyways since anything coming form the local waters wasn't something you'd want to eat.

Ooooh! Was it one of those rivers you could light on fire?

Not even kidding. If you know, you know. Back in the day some rivers would burn.

Haha definitely not one of those. If it was, things would have burned for sure. It was just some murky waters with all kind of trash and who knows what else in them. Cat fish was the main catch in those creeks/rivers we usually went to. I did see an otter floating down one of the creeks one time though, that was interesting.

Ever seen one of these guys at a church potluck?

If your church is big enough and attendance is over a certain percent, you can see all of these guys at one potluck!

I'll have to get a triple-berry pie from the Village Inn, then I'll be over ♫ 😇 ↑
Wonderful to see you @GRACE_ambassador!

We would be honored to have you and your family join us -- and we'll be sure to get a shot at that triple-berry pie before our "taste testers"-- @Lynx and @Cold -- ever catch wind of it! :p (Otherwise, we know we're not going to get any.)

Great to have you here!

Lol I never tried catfish. I've tried a few different kinds but they all taste the same to me.
