Do you feel this is from Jesus? Does it resonate with you?

Just really struggling with my faith as of late. I am an x pastor. But seeing abusive leaders in positions of power that are harming those trying to focus on Christ but are still in positions of power, or those that have sexually abused congregates but takes a while for them to be removed in their leadership roles. Or not having any Christian friends anymore or people to discuss faith with. Or the many differences in the Christian faith but specifically around people such as women, single moms, gender in leadership etc. People seem to see a different Jesus then I do...one that wants obedience but is for both male and female and for where their heart is and in telling genders they have specific roles that they must stay in their lane. Also, questioning if I can continue with my marriage where it feels I take care of everything and they forget, or they are no longer interested in faith which feels like its me pulling a huge wagon uphill. I'm just exhausted, I do devotions, pray but don't feel I am receiving anything but a depressed spirit that feels alone in their faith journey but am required to keep pouring from an empty cup.
I hope this makes sense to someone. Just is there actually a God, or have I been fooled all this time. Spending countless hours of study, prayer to something/someone that is not there....

It strikes me as a genuine word. It seems to have the same spirit and tone as other genuine words I have heard via others.

I would have to think about if it resonates with me personally. Parts of it certainly do. Others I have a hard time getting past the fact that they are a less obvious fit on their face, but maybe they just don't mean what I think. I initially thought you were asking a particular person but now I'm not sure. I can certainly feel a resonance there for somebody, and possibly me.

If a word 'resonates' with me it means my flesh is feeling it & has no spiritual validity at all.
You would think in these last days there would be some warning prophecies about getting ready to meet the Lord or warnings about the spirit of antichrist increasing in the world.
Read the OT prophecies & you'll discover that most of them were warnings with judgment.
Prophecy, like preaching, should bring conviction to the hearers. Not just conviction of sin, but conviction to live righteously.

Actually, the more I considered it the more I felt it did resonate with me, so thank you very much. I wasn't expecting to find such a blessing on that page.

What initially confused me was it mentioning the gifts I received in the early days. For me God has given me many spiritual gifts, but they weren't given, or were at least not evident until a long time into my journey. My life felt like God was mostly silent and little interested in me until suddenly I woke up in a different reality with a different God. I knew this wasn't so, but it's been hard to make sense of.

What I realized after reading it again was that, that was the point - showing me that God was always there, always very interested in my life, but producing a different kind of gifts in me. And they are ones worth appreciating and making a point to use.

There are also some encouragements there that hit at some specific thoughts and issues of late. I tend to feel like many things of God are meant to be private and protected, though, so please forgive me if I don't get too specific. This may also be because some prophetic words apply to multiple people and putting out too many specifics for myself could jeopardize others ability to recognize you and God's gift to them.

No.

Why?

I simply do not believe it's from Jesus. It does not resonate with me. It sounds exactly like the flowery feel good words I've heard many people speaking during church services who are pretending to be speaking a prophetic Word.

My friend, there are different kinds of 'words' and different kinds of callings that you have confused. What you are seeing on this page is a personal message by someone called to be a messenger to the body of Christ. To my fellowship God has differentiated this kind of gift of prophecy from that of a person called to the office of Prophet (note the capital letter) - someone called to speak to and about the world.

You receive a word as prophetic from someone you don't even know?
How do you know if anyone's a prophet, because they say so?

I also like the message by the way and no i didn't confuse it with God but with inspiration or possibly some sort of miracle that someone has experienced.

I assumed you were talking about someone on this site, and not an email.
Neither did you say that God was already dealing with you. Perhaps now you can understand where I was coming from.
