This is still not a Scripture verse or passage. Please try again.
The book of Hosea isn't scripture?
I went way past a scripture or passage. I gave you a whole book. Not my fault you don't understand it. Especially since I connected all the dots for you.

I too gave him Scripture verses that explicitly expressed what he was asking for
and he still denies the verses say what they do for the reason they do? Oy vey!

The Error of KJV-Onlyism

Nothing wrong with having a preference. You may go back and reinvent the wheel from Hebrew and Greek if you want to.

If you only could take away one thing from scripture, what would it be?

The assurance of salvation or your belief that only KJ's readers have the actual Bible?
This might be simple and dont dodge, do you have right now a complete, pure words of God this 2024? Thanks

The prophecy of Psalms 12:6 was not complete in their time to see it. I also gave you examples in Scripture of men of God not having certain knowledge from God. Take for example the two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35). Read this story in the Bible and then get back to me.
And I'm the silly one? It's amazing to see. The "only" in KJV will cause brothers to break fellowship and cause congregations to split. THAT should make believers pause. SMH.

Oh, hey we are of the same mind. We believe and trust in the same things. We are on the same path! Praise God! Wait, what? You don't exclusively use the KJV!?!?.......You're dead to me.

If such was the case, God would be telling him to join to other members of an harlot. The other members would be all the previous partners she had. It is why one cannot marry again unless one’s current spouse is passed away. Read the beginning of Romans 7.
Yea but he wasn't.

Nobody was saying Hosea fornicated before marrying Gomer.

Not reading into it what YOU seem to be reading it.

2 Timothy 2:15 in the KJV is not telling you to go to Seminary or Bible College to study. That's not what it is referring to. It simply means to study the Scriptures and no school is necessary to do that.
Amen. The Blessed Teacher and obeying Bible study Rules have seemed to work
very well for me, who has never been to seminary...

Amen.

KJVonly people just use KJV as their only source, thats the thing.

When they reference, they reference ONLY the KJV. They dont need to reference any other Bible or book. They just get all their scripture from KJV.

No need to get into a huff about it.

In some ways, it makes it easier instead of referencing 20 other versions.
Academics like to study other books, and read widely, and produced pages of bibliography and cross referencing, but this is the thing academics fail to underrstand. Some people dont have time to study 20 different versions, They dont want to do comparative literature studies.

They just want to trust ONE Bible to tell them Gods Word. To know one deeply than a hundred others skimming the surface. If happens to be KJV then thats fine...its all good...its the Bible. I would only be concerned if someone told me they get all their scripture from the Book of Mormon and that was the only book they ever read.
I think there's an assumption that those who decided to use the KJV as their only English Bible do so because they are stupid and intellectually retarded.
I believe it happens to be the case that many KJV readers have read the Bible from cover to cover and do not consult books from inferior sources. Why go to books based on the fallible incomplete critical texts of dubious origins that are neither oldest or best?
