It's actually a continuation, but in a different vein. Before God came to a singular nation predominantly. Now He is going to the whole world. Instead of working through a singular nation, He is working through the church in every nation. This transition is the subject of the book of Acts, but also the subject of the book of Revelation.

19. GENOCIDE (18 U.S.C. 1091)

"Section 1091 of Title 18, United States Code, prohibits genocide whether committed in time of peace or time of war. Genocide is defined in § 1091 and includes violent attacks with the specific intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group. There is Federal jurisdiction if the offense is committed within the United States. There is also Federal extraterritorial jurisdiction when the offender is a national of the United States."

According to the US definition it looks like it fits. Israel admitted it wasn't concerned about precision but with widespread damage.

Article II of the Genocide Convention:

"Genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

The US has ratified the same standards as Article II of the Genocide Convention which is why it's essentially verbatim. It doesn't look good for Israel if these are the objective measures to base genocide off of.

Please make note that it doesn't matter if violations are done in time of peace or war, genocide is still given the same objective measures.

Insurrection? I didn't see any grandmas taking selfies, I didn't see the cops escorting some Shaman around the offices, I didn't hear about AOC crying in her bathroom. Perhaps you don't know what an insurrection is. Did the cops shoot and kill some unarmed girl? None of the earmarks of the prototypical US insurrection. Also, I doubt any of these protestors voted for Trump, therefore they aren't domestic terrorists.

So moving babies to a safe space, moving an entire hospital to a ship. Where does that stand in the scope of war? Genocide is not being committed in Israel. They are doing everything they can to warn citizens, to give them time to leave, to help those that need help to leave. No other war has been so careful over the enemy than the Jews during this war.
