There is one mortal human flesh body and one that is an immortal flesh body which is called the spiritual body but again, it is not a spirit.

Nope. There is no non-physical body. The spiritual body Paul wrote of and that Jesus has after resurrection is flesh and bone and immortal.

This says spirit has no flesh, do you believe these words?

He is talking about a ghost and everyone knows they have no flesh or bones.

Jesus is in an immortal body when he is speaking those words.

But He didn’t say ghost (phantasma) He said spirit (pneuma)

Jesus said the spirit has NO flesh…

Jesus said spirit has no flesh, Stephen is dead, and they have buried his flesh body… Stephens spirit has ascended to God,

Both can refer to a ghost which is also called a spirit.

Again context matters here. They see him but don't believe because they know he died. He said he isn't "spirit" but has flesh and bone. He is saying he isn't a ghost but is real.



You are attacking strawmans. No one believes a spirit has flesh or bones. The spiritual body is not a spirit. A spiritual body is physical but a spirit is not.

God is a spirit.
God has a body.
Are you telling me God has a physical body of flesh?

So we now know there is a body that is spirit, with no flesh. God has one.

We also know there is a natural flesh body.
That’s it… two bodies, But you keep adding a spiritual flesh body, that is not spoken of anywhere in scripture.

Actually you are doing that. I only believe in two bodies, both flesh. You have come up with a spirit body of no flesh which is not something that exists.

I searched the verses in genesis where the word angel, malak, occurs and the lion's share of them are in reference to the LORD.
Notice even in Jacob's blessing upon Joseph's two sons
Genesis 48

15Then he blessed Joseph and said:

“May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,

the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,

16the angelc who has redeemed me from all harm—

may He bless these boys.

And notice what God said in the Genesis 6 verse implied in the OP that allegedly calls angels 'sons of God' that saw that the daughters of men were beautiful took wives whomever they chose.

I know that Genesis records the descendants of Adam and how long they lived, but I'm wondering here. IS there any account that anyone died apart from Abel, whose life is cut short by Cain, up to this point? Is this the actual moment God's judgment that "ye shall surely die" is officially rendered?

Going by this chart, it seems that everyone was alive up to Noah's time. Enoch "did not see death" and this chart shows Adam dying after Noah has been born, by 50 or so years? And the chart shows most of those listed before his birth dying before the flood, but how long did it take Noah to actually build the ark from the time of God's pronouncement?

This is awesome! It's crazy to think that Shem would have known Methuselah, who BTW was himself alive while Adam was sill running around, and still lived long enough to have known Jacob. That's crazy they may have spoken to each other. We never really think about the overlap of some of these people. Or to be fair "I" haven't that often.
