I cannot fathom why and how our Creator Father loves us. So much that He sent His precious Son to teach us love even to the point of allowing us to crucify Him.

I certainly do not deserve it, sinful and foolish a sinner as I am. What is our soul that God places such value upon it? Just look at what we do - making a living hell of this planet we were given. Attacking and destroying everything upon it, including each other.

I would like to be pointed towards the passages in the Bible, the only truth that I believe in, that clarifies what exactly makes me so valuable that God is doing all He can to save me from the Devil. I know each must come willingly and freely to our Father. That He wants us is the the mystery!
Why do fathers love thier imperfect children ?

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭3:38‬ ‭

consider this parable

“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:18-24‬ ‭

We are His sheep, we belong to Him. If anyone doubted God's love they need only to look at the cross.

One of the greatest deceptions of our time, if not all time, is that God Loves all mankind, every single individual, but thats not true Rom 9:13

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Ps 5:5

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Would you have us hate our fathers and mothers, husbands, wives, children, brethren and sisters???

If any man come to Me and hate not his father and mother, and wife and children,
and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

We are commanded above all to love others (after loving God first). Your interpretation of hate in the verse you gave is awry.

This isnt about the action of men, but its about God not loving all, when He plainly tells us He hates some people Rom 9:13

Does God Love esau ?
God knows people he knew esau was going to sell his birthright blessing for a bowl of red stew that’s how much he valued God God has foreknowledge we don’t

God hates wickedness and godlessness

“lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God knows the end of what we are and what we’ll do beforehand he doesn’t arbitrarily live and hate anyone or anything his nature is holy so by nature he hates wickedness, he is good so by nature he hates and is opposed to evil in every possible way

God simply knew esau would sell his blessing and saw that Jacob would treasure it and honor him moreso th an esau , so Jacob was chosen for the blessing

In the bible the terms e know and inderrrsnd like “ love” and “hate “ they aren’t coming from mans understanding of those terms but what God means by them

awe say “I love you “ and we’re talking about an emotion or “ I hate you “ that’s not what shoes talking about not the human emotions of love and hate

But the tangible effectual love with deeds and blessings mercy and truth

and tangible hate including the actions and curses the sin and pride and unforgiveness of it

Quite simply: God decided to love us. And this was decreed, in eternity, before God made man.

The Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world.

This was not an insurance policy in the case that man should sin: God, who knows the end from the beginning, knew that man would sin. So, The Son, who is the expressed image of God, paid the price for man's sin BEFORE man was even on the scene.

The Son, by giving Himself for the sake of another (in this case "all who would believe in Him), became the heir of all of the Father's estate: By this action The Son expressed The Father's character perfectly by willingly giving up the life that was His to give.

The Son gave up His life to the Father so that ALL who receive Him could likewise be included in the Father's estate.

Consequently, God the Father was invested in man without the consent of man.

This was the love He conveyed toward us while we were still sinners. So, it was not because we deserved love that He loved us. No, "We love Him because He first loved us."

Hi So do you make salvation conditioned on man ?

Does God love esau ? Rom 9:13

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
yeah like I was saying your thinking of love and hate like people do , this isn’t saying that God had an emotional human hate for esau or that he only emotional human love and affection for Jacob.

It obviously says what it says , what I’m saying is you are applying mankind’s version of love and hate to this statement and that’s not what it’s about

God didn’t arbitrarily choose Jacob he foreknew then both and saw who they were and what they would do with the blessing that’s what he’s speaking from there God hates sinfulness like selling your whole inheritance for a bowl of stew showing it doesn’t mean anything to you it’s worth a bowl of soup God hates that kind of thing that some people do is the idea

God is not wondering who we really are down deep he knows beforehand it’s all a mystery to us and it’s all free Will and choice to us God already knows the outcome though

God loves the upright and despises the evil , he embraces and uplifts the humble , but resists and humbled the proud , God loves and embraces all that is good and he rejects rebukes and despises all that is eviL

Jacob and Esau are identified as nations in Rebekah's womb... easily seen as those who believe, and those who do not.

And God so loved the world He gave His only beogtten Son to seek and save the lost... if only they would believe.

I cannot fathom why and how our Creator Father loves us
God's Agape is wide and so deep that we cannot fathom it ------and yet we are called to live in this Love Agape when we receive Jesus in our Hearts -----

We are called to Agape God -----with all our heart --soul --mind and strength ---that is the first commandment -----and then we are called to Agape our neighbour as God Agape's us -----

This Agape loves the unlovely ---this Agape is unconditional ----this Agape never fails us ------

How hard it is for us to put this Agape ---this unconditional love in operation every day of our lives ?

That is the Question ----easy to say we have Agape for God and neighbour but how do we respond to God and Neighbour when bad things happen in our lives ----- ?????

.
1John 4:8 . . God is love.

I suggest that the "love" in that verse is sort of like the label on a container
listing the ingredients in an edible product's recipe, e.g.

01) Pity
02) Concern
03) Sympathy
04) Empathy
05) Kindness
06) Generosity
07) Lenience
08) Tolerance
09) Deference
10) Sensitivity
11) Understanding
12) et al
_

We know that God is love and I believe that creation is love. I believe God created us out of love. After we are transformed we will add to the love in God's kingdom and round and round we go! :)
