I am not one who preaches carry your cross and expect hardships day and night, but certainly this is a rather callous comment about God.
"For He says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.…Romans 9:15-16. The right answer to anyone going through a hard time is to pray GOD has mercy on them.

Did Paul ever use that phrase on anyone? He only said what GOD told him and only him.
“Now concerning virgins, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy”
1 Corinthians 7:25

So then you are saying God's grace is not sufficient for anyone besides Paul, let's be clear?

Why not? Jesus said pick up your cross and follow me. Why not preach what Jesus said?

Well I did say "carry your cross."

When did Jesus carry the cross before or after the resurrection?

GOD may give grace to some, but not to others. GOD said.....I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.

You cant play that card on this one.

1 Peter 2:21
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His footsteps:

Its being taught post-resurrection as well.

God has certainly shown abundant grace and mercy toward and upon me.

Neither can you.;)

If we do suffer. Jesus is our example. As in don't whine and complain about it, that is Peter's point.

There are many faithful down through the ages who have not suffered for their faith like the first century Christians, so we cannot assume all will suffer like Jesus, that is not borne out in scripture nor in reality.

2 Tim 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

So yes, everyone will be suffering for the faith. If your unsaved family still thinks you're totally awesome, thats a red flag

Jesus said there is no marriage in heaven. He did not say there wouldn't be any close relationships.
He said there is no marriage "in the resurrection"
When we put on immortality we won't have the same needs & desires we have now. Say good-bye to the old carnal man who will die and be raised as a new creature. The most intimate relationship we will have is the one we have with our eternal God. Nothing will fascinate you more.

Yet in Genesis Chap 6, the Sons of GOD (fallen angels) saw the daughters of men were beautiful and took for themselves wives.

Yeah, this had me thinking: Are we going to lose our reproductive organs? Will us women lose our curvy figure? What about men? Will they physically change in any way?

No one has to answer this though. We'll all see when this whole thing is over.....

Paul did say:

1 Corinthians 11:1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

So if God's grace is sufficient for Christ (when He went to the cross), God's grace is sufficient for Paul (in his affliction), and God's grace is sufficient for us (for whatever we're going through).

There are other verses where Paul urged his listeners to follow his example or imitate him:

Philippians 3:17 Join one another in following my example, brothers, and carefully observe those who walk according to the pattern we set for you.

1 Thessalonians 1:6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord when you welcomed the message with the joy of the Holy Spirit, in spite of your great suffering.
