I think I should wait until the millennium age to start dating again.

Besides dating, what are other things you would like to do or be in your life?

Focus on serving the LORD in the meantime and maybe he will reward you with the woman you desire.

"Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart." Please read Ps. 3:3-31

Prayerfully...

Jesus will be reigning on earth at that time. Post-resurrection you will have other things on your mind.
You will be free!!!!! look forward to that.

29 Jesus replied, ‘You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will
neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. ~Matt 22

Did that for 20 years, in the church, It happened to others, but not to me. It's like being in a group with cancer. GOD touches and heals some, but does not touch others.

When a person is so dissatisfied with their life I recommend helping those less fortunate or even more being content with the relationship, hopefully you have, with Christ Jesus.

``My grace is sufficient for thee.``

Marriage can be tough. For me, I was always extremely happy being single.
And I mean so happy that I sometimes felt bad about it........

I burned thru at least two (8 CD packs) of "Berliner Philharmoniker Beethoven 9 Symphonien ouverturen by Karajan" (considered to be the finest recording of all time) in my younger days.
All while joyously driving wherever and whenever I wanted to go and be. At absurd high volumes that ended up blowing out my right ear to a significant degree. It was pure bliss a lot of the time. Not to mention the vast quantities of Mozart, Bach etc etc.

You cannot do that when you are married bro. You have to please others not yourself. Wifey is always telling me to turn the volume down nowadays ROFL.

Who are we supposed to be pleasing--ourselves, others, or Jesus--all the time? Jesus. Certainly, never ourselves.

I'm talking about marriage insofar as pleasing another.

Just to be clear, my driving around, many many travels and adventures and singleness was a non-stop endless exultation of Jesus.
I would listen to sermons and bible CD's for literally 8 hours straight while driving. Did that for literally decades.
Endless quantities of sermons. And huge quantities of beautiful music as well.

Nothing wrong with that bro.

I freely admit I do many activities I enjoy and for myself  crosswords, puzzles, read, listen to music, and on occasion watch a movie etc., :)

May I be nosy and ask at what age did you marry?

``My grace is sufficient for thee.``
``My grace is sufficient for thee.` that phrase was only used with Paul. Would you honestly use it for someone who has lost their job, or a family member? or someone with brain cancer?

The one who is able to accept this, let him accept it. ' For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, there are eunuchs who were made by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves that way because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who is able to accept it should accept it." Matt 19:12 Some can accept the singles life, others never will. It's not in them to accept it.

I am not one who preaches carry your cross and expect hardships day and night, but certainly this is a rather callous comment about God.

Did Paul ever use that phrase on anyone? He only said what GOD told him and only him.
