1 Cor 15:27
27For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.

Do you see that God and Christ are two different persons in this verse alone? There is an entire network of verses and passages throughout the New Testament showing that Christ and God are different persons. What do you make of this verse that says God is not subordinate to Christ?
nor is Christ subordinate to God is my point, as they are "on the same level."

It isn't enough to refute modern Arianism because John 1:1-3 is clearly a parallel to Genesis 1 where God used His spoken words to create. The the word "word" being capitalized in John 1 is subjective and reflects the bias of the translators. In the original Koine Greek, only proper nouns were capitalized. Given that, a valid interpretation is that the "word" is that God's words are part of who He is and what He uses to create.

If that's so, then John 1:14 could be understood as follows: God used His words to create Jesus and God's words were manifested in Jesus who was full of grace and truth.

John 1:14
14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Hi Runningman. Disagree. Jesus is the Word of God. That's proved in Revelation also:

"He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God." (Rev 19:13)

Jesus Christ is the Word of God. The Word of God created all things. Therefore, Jesus Christ is the Creator, and not a creature. The Greek word is Logos. Christ is the Logos, the Incarnate Word and Wisdom of God of whom Solomon speaks in Proverbs 8. This Word was always beside the Father, delighting in Him, like a Child beside His Father, as Learner showed earlier.

"Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." (1 Cor 1:24)

Was God ever without Wisdom? If not, then the Wisdom of God, Christ, is Co-Eternal with God. This was the theological argument that was so successful at the Council of Nicaea and resolved most of the doubts the Bishops had. 318 out of 320 Bishops signed the final decree and agreed Christ was truly God and Co-Eternal with God the Father. Colossians says all things were made by Him and for Him.

"16For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. " (Colossians 1:16-17)

And yes, God the Father and God the Son (and God the Holy Spirit) are distinct Persons. But they are One Being/Essence/Nature. God and His Word and His Spirit are One Being, as you and your mind and heart are one being. Both the Word of the Father (Jesus) and the Spirit of the Father, and the Son, (the Holy Spirit) are in the Father, and One Being with Him eternally. The Spirit of God was never created. He can be blasphemed, so He is no creature, but the Creator. He is also a Person, not a "force" as the JWs say. He speaks and only Persons speak. John 14-16 is clear on that.

"For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." (1 Jn 5:7, NKJV).

God Bless.

See also the Baptismal Name, as I think I mentioned earlier. Christ said "The Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit". When we speak of two different beings, like Peter and Paul, we say "names of Peter and Paul". But the Lord said "Name" and not names. Why did He do that? Because the Three Persons named are One Lord God.

John 8:

54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

To me this is the most profound of all the I Am statements and what He was claiming was more than apparent to the Pharisees.

"We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."

His Son Jesus Christ is the True God and is Eternal Life. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and True God as it says here.

The Council of Nicaea, after long and detailed theological debates and investigations of the Holy Scriptures, declared, in the Nicene Creed, about Jesus Christ:

"And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages,

God from God,
Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made;
of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven;
he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary,
and was made human.

He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again with glory
to judge the living and the dead.
His kingdom will never end."

And St. Athanasius of Alexandria, one of the holiest and wisest of the Nicene Council Fathers, handed down an Athanasian Creed on the Holy Trinity. He died in 373 A.D. The Council of Nicaea was in 325 A.D. In 381 A.D. the Second Ecumenical Council confirmed the Divinity of the Holy Spirit, which he already knew.

"we worship one God in Trinity and the Trinity in unity,
neither blending their persons
nor dividing their essence.
For the person of the Father is a distinct person,
the person of the Son is another,
and that of the Holy Spirit still another.
But the divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one,
their glory equal, their majesty coeternal.
What quality the Father has, the Son has, and the Holy Spirit has.
The Father is uncreated,
the Son is uncreated,
the Holy Spirit is uncreated.
The Father is immeasurable,
the Son is immeasurable,
the Holy Spirit is immeasurable.
The Father is eternal,
the Son is eternal,
the Holy Spirit is eternal.
And yet there are not three eternal beings;
there is but one eternal being.
So too there are not three uncreated or immeasurable beings;
there is but one uncreated and immeasurable being.
Similarly, the Father is almighty,
the Son is almighty,
the Holy Spirit is almighty.
Yet there are not three almighty beings;
there is but one almighty being.
Thus the Father is God,
the Son is God,
the Holy Spirit is God.
Yet there are not three gods;
there is but one God.
Thus the Father is Lord,
the Son is Lord,
the Holy Spirit is Lord.
Yet there are not three lords;
there is but one Lord."

I have looked at N.T. Greek Manuscripts at UM in Ann Arbor. The texts are only in all caps.

Christ existed before Jesus was born. Christ proceedeth from the Father and sat on the right hand of the Father which means that all things created were by the Father through Christ. Of course, Christ is the God and Lord of all creation, but the Father is the one God of all. Christ existed in the form of God and as stated in Isaiah 43: 10 before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Since there was a time before the God of Isaiah 43: 10, he cannot be the one God of all because God has always existed and has no beginning. The beginning starts when Christ was formed. Christ has His own mind but perfectly obeys the Father's will. Christ was the Son of God before he lowered Himself to become human. The Father put all things under Christ's feet except Himself. Christ was under the command of the Father even while in Heaven because He was sent to die for us when He was in Heaven. Jesus said that all authority is given to Him in Heaven and on earth. It is the Father that has given Him this authority. The Father communicates with and empowers living beings through His Holy Spirit. ( John 12: 49-50, John 10: 37-38). Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus ( the ) Christ. who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, It is the Father that has created our existence and has blessed us through His Son because when we are saved and receive His Holy Spirit, we become part of Christ's spiritual body and will be in Him as part of His body, and will be partakers of all the blessings that He will receive from the Father in Heaven.
The Son of God was not formed or created.

A Creature can not Create anything from Nothing.

Scripture clearry teaches that Jesus aka Son of God created all things, that he existed before creation.

Therefore, the Son of God is not a creature.

I forget, what texts say, they are "on the same level ?
The verse I consider saying this is easy for me to remember since it reflects the gematria of God's Name, YHVH, which is 26. Philippians 2:6
6Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.…

This says that Jesus did not come to be worshipped but as servant, ministering to the repair of the relationship between man and God. That is, He came as Son of Joseph, hated by his brothers although being the means to their salvation, and wasn't concerned about "throwing His weight around" at His first advent. However, He will show Himself as Son of David, the conquering King, at His second advent.

It doesn’t deny the Son of the Father wasn’t a servant prior to being made in human likeness.
