When Jesus spoke in Mathew He did not speak of a period of time 'a time of tribulation.' He simplely said ' you will have great tribulation' . Many times over history and today Christians are in great tribulation.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

the 70th weeks is a farce because who is counting the weeks. The pretribbers keep insisting on a 'gap years/weeks' just like some teachers insist on a 'gap theory'. It is because they have gaps in their knowledge.

lol..

Believers will always have tribulation- this is how our faith is tested. Beast empires have risen and fallen over centuries and we still have beast empires today. We live under them right now. world leaders and politicians, popes, monarchs etc are always trying to take over God and say they are God.

God. Prophetically.

Those who have mastered prophecy ALWAYS recognize the pre-trib rapture as Biblical doctrine so declared. It's baked in the cake.

Not (pre-Rev chapter 6 tribulation) anymore. Woe unto the earth-dwellers though.

Rev 3:10
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Rev 5:8
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Rev 5:9
And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

you seem confused between tribulation and wrath
The Tribulation is the time of God's wrath. Not confusing.

you say its Great tribulation.
Yes, it is. Tribulation like the world has not seen before. It is called the Time of Jacob's Trouble (it is not called "The Time of the Church's Trouble.")

Every believer will go through tribulation but they are not under Gods wrath.
Amen! Now you're cooking with gas. ;)(y)

Yes we are! PTL! :D

Buring the chaff is not tribulation - thats wrath. Do you get it or you dont understand.
Amen. I think you are starting to understand. Our testing and refining is now. God's wrath upon unbelievers happens during the seven years when the unbelievers will come under their tribulation. We are not destined for that tribulation, because it is God's wrath upon the unbelieving.

Who are those of understanding who help others during the last tribulation, that great one?
Revelation 11:3
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Amen. We are in complete agreement on this. The time of our testing and refining is now and the Church has undergone persecution since its inception. No need to come under God's wrath in the future.

I kinda think those who adhere to pre-tribulation are like those who play monopoly and covet those 'get out of jail free' cards

I dont know. I know scripture does say 'after tribulation' rather than before. But of course lots of people prefer that they never face any tribulation of any kind. My question is if they dont, how do they know their faith is real? If its never actually tested...?

Whether it be Great Tribulation or just personal tribulation. For who can say any Christian leads a charmed life in this world?

Its just a strange thing to think that for seven years according to some popular teaching the church will disappear. Just how is never explained. Oh we just not going to be here. Ok....and just where will the believers go. I thought they would be prohesying or witnessing but apparently for those who believe we will be raptured there is just nothing for us to do.

Instead a logical reading of Matthew 26 is that after tribulation Jesus will appear. Right up until the end we can preach the gospel and be witnesses. Its just those in Judaea are the ones Jesus told to 'flee to the mountains'

Then in Matthew chapter 25 Jesus has gathered all nations before him (see verse 32) and separates them from each other. Sheep on the right, goats on the left. It does not say he gets the sheep first going to heaven and then the goats he puts through tribulation AND punishment.

It seems both go through tribulation, and Jesus sees how their faith or lack of it is tested, then decides which ones go to heaven or hell.

thoughts? Just putting out there
BTW....Jesus was more or less a dispensationalist.....;)

Mat 12:32
“Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

Mat 13:40
“Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.

Mat 19:28
So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luk 19:42
Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes

Correct of course. Daniel's 70th week. Why/how some people ignore/avoid this I cannot fathom.

Rev 5:3
And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Raptured bro. Before Rev 6 tribulation ever begins.....

The way dispensational teaching reads the 70 weeks ,teaches the follower God did not know of the rejection of His Son , or of what is called the church age. Never mind it implies He cannot follow a simple line of math 1 through 70.

I think there is some truth here. In that the deception is designed to dash peoples' faith in the hour of testing. A kind of, "i thought Jesus was going to rescue us from this time". If you catch my meaning.

Please let me show you something.

Those Jews who came to Jesus during the Trib are presented, by their tribes:
Revelation 7:8
“Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.”

Those are the Jews who came out of the Tribulation Period. There is then another group presented:

Revelation 7:9
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;”

This group is the sum of all who were prepared with their lamps trimmed and burning at the time of the Rapture.

Both groups receive white robes in Heaven and return to earth with Jesus at the time of His Second Coming. This is not new. It has been right there in your Bible for the longest time.
