I sincerely apologize for my abrasive tone. I was merely trying to point out that most of the teachings of Jesus, as well as Apostolic teaching, has its roots in the Old Testament.
Grace and mercy and faith and love are the hallmarks of the OT. Some examples:

Habakkuk 2: ...the just shall live by faith..
Leviticus19:..love thy neighbor as thyself...

These aren't new themes. They were just misunderstood by the religious leaders. Remember it was a scribe who asked Jesus who his neighbor was. And Jesus rebuked Nicodemus for not understanding salvation. He was a Pharisee.

24. Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

Gods kingdom is like a man which sowed good seed in his field. There is only good seed; good things, in Gods kingdom.



25.But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But while men slept:

Why would we care that men slept? They were the watchman. What happened when the watchmen fall asleep on the watch? The enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

If you have ever been in the military you know how important watchmen are. If you fall asleep on watch during war time people die and you can be shot for treason.

Verse 26.But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

The wheat the seed of God will always bring forth good fruit. There also appeared the tares the bad seed.

Verse 27. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

The servants did not even realize what had happened; the damage done by the men sleeping on watch.

Verse 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

He the owner of the field said an enemy has done this. The servants what to know if they should pull out the tares, the bad seed.

Verse 29.But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30.Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Let both the good and the bad grow together till harvest time. The end of the season. Then we will gather first the tares and burn them in bundles to burn them: but the wheat the good fruit will be gathered into the barn.

We are going to jump down to where Jesus explains this parable. Remember the verses in Revelation that explained the candlesticks, the seven stars. The same thing is going to happen here and when Jesus explains something we have to take that as the truth.

So parts of the bible are for outsiders only? So what parts do I use and what parts di I not use?

The Parable of the Weeds Explained

36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

Jesus sends the people away and it is just Him and the disciple that were with him. They ask Jesus to explain the parable for them. Jesus is not only explaining it to them He is explaining it to us and we should lesion.

37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The man that sewed the good seed is THE SON OF MAN.

38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

What is the first thing we learned. The field is the world, Jesus is the one that explained this and there is no changing that. The second is the good seed are the children of the kingdom. That would be the Kingdom of God The children of the seed of Jesus Christ. The third thing we learn is the tares are the children of the wicked one. Who is the wicked one? Satan. Next verse will confirm that.

39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

The Son of Man: Jesus will send forth His angles: To do what? Gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and do iniquity. Where are these things that offend and do iniquity? The field the world. You must know that all this takes place here on earth, right here on our planet earth.

42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

You must be born again; Why? The flesh body can not house the Holy Spirit; God's Spirit. Like an old wine skin it will burst when filled with new wine. Spiritual body and mind for spiritual things flesh body and mind for fleshly or earthly things.

They were just stories, to the Jews who did not possess any spiritual discernment. However, to one who could discern spiritual things, many great lessons were/are to be had.

Mark 2:21-22 - explained:

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; otherwise, the patch pulls away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear results.

The "old garment", makes reference to the Jews tendency to follow rites and traditions, instead of God's Word. This magnifies their old nature. The "new" or "unshrunk cloth", is Christ's clarifications of the Truth. If you try to put that, on top of your old nature and your rites and traditions, you will make things worse.

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the skins as well; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins.”

This part of the parable, makes it much clearer, that one must have a new nature, in order to retain the Gospel. The truth of God poured into an old fallen nature, will result in failure. However, the Truth of God poured into a new (Regenerated) nature, will retain it.

Yes, Jesus was trying to teach us while using parables. This is very evident if you look at what he said before and after a parable.

Jesus told Parables to bring the truth out using a spiritual story.

What is happening in these verses? Jesus and his disciples are alone setting on the Mt of Olives and they ask Jesus a question; it is the question we all what to know. When is the end and what will be the sings. Who is going to be speaking here; who is He going to be speaking to, and what is the subject? Who is speaking? Jesus. Who is he talking to the disciples (and us). What is the subject? The end of this age and the second coming. What are the first words out of the mouth of Jesus in both chapters?Many (not 1or 2 but many) will come in my name: What are they going to be saying? I come in the name of Jesus, I am a Christian pastor, preacher, minister, Bishop, teacher . . . AND DECEAVE MANY. How many is that? As many that do not understand what Jesus is going to teach. Then two shall be working in the field. What did we learn from the parable of the wheat and the tares? When Jesus is speaking of the end times the world is the field.

What did we learn fro Jesus in the parable of the weeds? 1. the field is the world. 2. the first one gathered out of the world are the children of Satan. Then what is left the wheat the children of God and where do they go? No where they are gathered into the barn and stay right here on earth. Why? Jesus is coming here to set up His millennial kingdom; at the end of the 1000 years God will bring his throne here to earth set on the white throne of judgment, open the book of life and we shall ALL that means the good, the bad and the ugly. The good will be judged righteous and given there rewards some 100 fold, some 60 fold and some 30 fold. They all get to stay right here in the new field the new earth one where there is nothing to offend no evil but only righteousness.

Let me as a question you are working do you want to be the first one taken by the reapers the bad seed the tares gathered FIRST and sent away with Satan; or do you want to be taken second and pleased in the barn and then get to spend eternity with the Father?

You get to make the choice. How many times have you heard a pastor, etc stand up and say “I WANT TO BE THAT FIRST ONE TAKEN” I would not want to be in his flock looking to taken by the reapers first.

Think bout it! There is no rapture Jesus and God are coming here to earth to setup the Heaven Age right here on a rejuvenated earth ,world, field.

When the books were written the authors all had the Holy Spirit. When all this was taught they had Jesus with them so they also had the Holy spirit with them not in them but with them.

In Galilee, Jesus trained his apostles and others then sent them out with the instruction:

They were to take there staff: That was to help them walk but also to defend themselves from wild animals and robbers and thieves; and sandals for their feet. 1st Timothy 5:17&18 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

Anyone that preaches the truth should never be bagging for money. What did Jesus tell them to do? Go into a town find a house that is worthy of you stay there preach tech till time to move on. On the other hand if you go into a town and find no one worthy knock the dust off you feet move on and this will be a witness against them and it will be worse for them than those in Soda and Gomorrah.

What you are trying to say is that people like Paul before He was struck down by Jesus had no understanding of the scriptures becase He did not have the Holy Spirit, NOT SO

Perhaps what he means is that the scripture cannot make one wise unto salvation apart from the Holy Spirit
