I've been thinking about deleting the Christian Chat App. My Chatroom experience has been a bit inconsistent, but mostly boring. There have been just a few times that it got interesting. And only a few times was it really what I would call Christian. The friendly part of the chatroom has been what I would call "iffy". There are a lot of times, where people just sit around. I got no idea if they are private chatting or just sitting and waiting for something to happen. There are other times when the microphone people become annoying. I get the impression that they are a little bored, so they are creating drama just to have something to talk about.
After writing something negative about the Christian Chat App, now I want to report something positive. Twice someone on the microphone prayed. I love hearing Christian people praying over things. There is also someone who does bible trivia, and that has been good to hear. I've also heard several eternal security sermons. I don't think i believe in eternal security, but I'm sure glad to hear something Christian being preached.
With as many rooms there are on that App, it would be nice if there could be something going on all the time. It would be nice if there was a room for sermons, a room for prayer, a room for trivia. When I say all the time, I mean it would be nice if we had enough people who could be constantly sharing these tasks. For example, if you needed prayer, you could just pop into the prayer room and there would be someone right there ready to pray with the people in the room. If you wanted to hear a sermon, you could just pop into the sermon room. If you wanted Bible trivia, then you could just pop in.
I know that it's too difficult to have all the chatrooms with a minister in them. But that is what I WISH things were like. i think even a general discussion room would be better if a minister was a moderator. Since 2002, I've been to other Christian chatrooms and I have always thought that a minister moderator would of made them better. Because often times the moderators I met didn't seem to be all that spiritually minded. They were just people who somehow got the job of moderating, and they could just ban whoever they wanted for whatever reason they wanted. In other words, each moderator kinda went on their own, feelings and views to decide who got to stay and who didn't. At least that had been my past experiences.
Anyways, I just wanted to say something about the chatrooms and get that out of me.
