Jesus modeled how we are each to live, He never said this.

really need to be healed of this mental disease. I am struggling with social interaction

please pray for my healing
You're not alone.
I know there are other members on this site who are also on the spectrum.
As for myself, I've never been tested or diagnosed, though the more I learn about ASD (I have 2 children on the spectrum, and they are as different as night and day) the more I look back over my life/growing up and question things.

I will pray for you, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you want to chat sometime.

The healing begins when you learn to live with it.

I have it, I am taking a pre apprenticeship course to find work to get off social assistance, so far learning math is my biggest challenge. That's because it's complex formulas in algebra
never had an issue livign with it . spent many years working my way up to be managerial level now.

MY issue is with PEOPLE. i am incapable of speaking correctly to win freinds.

Jesus said we have not because we ask not, we ask and receive not because we ask amiss.
Continuing to proclaim and declare what we DON'T have will impede Him from coming in with His healing as we have made the problem the adversary has made a part of our identity.
There is POWER in our words, Sunday teaching at the most Biblically true ministry I know of illuminated this. I offer it to you for your restoration in Jesus name.

no wonder, you prefer to wallow in the adversaries attack upon your wholeness and prefer to not receive His healing.
The devil is firmly entrenched as we see from your words.
goodbye

Ive been doing online forums and chatrooms since I was 13, it will come in time. Especially since no one wants to see anyone in the real world. This is a poor substitute for real social lives.

It takes more than words to make communities and social circles.

When the world forces people to seperate and go online it makes it easier to target people to take advantage of.

Think about this, how many hours a day do you spend online? How many commercials and ads do you see a day? And some people with compulsive disorders point click and buy impulsively because of it.

We should stop building websites and start building churches.

I was asking/praying amiss for a long time for healing/removal of allergic reactions to grass and lawn clippings. I didn't get healed immediately but when i kept imagining and speaking that i don't get allergies from grass anymore one day i just noticed that the allergies were completely gone.

One thing i have learned in recieving healing is that it's a good idea to speak and imagine about it (diseases) as past tense, as something that you used to have but are now free and no longer a subject of. I literally was speaking like i was free from allergies even while i was outside still sneezing, scratching and coughing with snot running out of my nose. Over time what i was repeating day after day became my personal truth and God just allowed it (healing)to be manifest in my body. I guess you could say that i was transformed by the renewing of my mind.

I have 2 friends who pray and recieved the same way i did, one had his diabetic neuropathy and blood clots go away, and
the other just flat out went off of all his diabetic, heart, kidney medications and has been off them for 10 years.

Currys teaching is a bit lengthy and over complicated with a lot of christianese dialogue but the practice itself isn't hard, it's just such an unorthodox way of thinking and reacting in contrast to "the norm" that few people will commit to it. The hard part is just being consistent day after day but once you get to a place where you're no longer looking for changes, evidence or a miracle because youve already accepted the reality of whatever it is by living and being/seeing yourself as subject to it you will just have it....A lot people can't recieve simply because they're too busy accepting and seeing themselves as subject to something else because they think they have to, but the game changes when you learn that you have a choice.

As long as disease has you treating it like you have it and it has you thinking you're subject to it you will have it, because its sole objective is to conform you into what it is first mentally so then physically it has rights to stay. Once i realized it was all a fight over my mind, words, position and belief systems things started leaving.

awesome testimony! Thank you kindly!
I am going to save this and review it a bunch, you're really on to something here.
Curry speaks of sickness becoming a part of our identity, i see from what you say how this relates.(y):)

So much of what we were taught is NOT biblical, when we learn true Biblical Christianity is can seem "Christianese".

Modern christianity is like "Lets go to church and listen to how Christ healed us but first lets take a trip to the pharmacy".
It really is counterproductive how we think, we live double minded lives with our eyes on the word but our imaginations and lives on what is "reasonable" according to what we see/feel and after what the doctors say and we wonder why God won't heal us.

I totally agree with the modern hypocrisy, Jesus can still perform miracles if we believe. But it's our lack of faith that hinders us.

Don't forget proverbs teaches that wisdom is justified of her children and Jesus did say that they that are whole need not a physician.

God wants us to trust him and would also point us to a doctor if we need one

Hey Mitch2019,

I will pray for you. I have talked with many who were diagnosed Asperger's and some other diagnostic labels that the system likes to give. . My heart goes out to you.
Anything that affects our brain is a challenge, no doubt about it. But some of my best physical fitness/ martial arts students were labeled by their doctors with this that, or the other. Their parents couldn't believe their eyes how certain physical abilities exceeded their own with practice.

There was a friend who loaned me a book Temple Grandin and I bought the movie for her... It was very inspiring.

Let me know if you have questions about prayer. I have seen God answer many prayers and like to help others with that if they want to know how.

Have a great week Mitch!

I believe thats for some depending on where your faith is, but for me personally i don't mess with doctors or any types of medication anymore.

I know what you mean.
Long ago I decided to forgo drugs and use natural herbs, and medicinal spices for occasional injuries and what not. Jesus made things that work, but without the harmful effects that medicine does.
However, God certainly can do all things and have seen & experienced miracles.
