How should we judge gay marriage?

  • Should the subject go back to the state?

  • Should it be outlawed nationwide?

I'm not sure you know what the subject is.
Marriage was never the estate of the state. It was a authoritarian over reach for them to take authority over marriage. It happened in the early 1900s. If you understood the two estates then you would understand what I am saying.
Civil rights enumerated in the constitution are not rights granted by govco but established as natural rights not to be violated by ... Slavery as it was in the Americas has always been a violation of natural rights.
Govco interjection into marriage is also a violation.
I know the subject well enough not to invent phraseology like, Govco.

As I said, study would benefit you greatly.

Have a great day.

The wealthiest billionaires in the world doubled their fortunes in one year while the family owned brick and mortar stores were put out of business. That was the competition. Gates bought guess who?
The WHO! 😄
Fauci etc that unjustly commanded the planet to take part in a prison term...."Lock Down" . Every institution went along with it better than a well trained German Shepherd told to sit.
The state governors went along threatening small businesses, churches, etc. so they must have been paid off...ours sure was.
On and on.
GovCo is a good term to use for the subject Dirtman.

Also rich govco subsidized drug companies made record profits on mandated medical testing on humans. That was outlawed world wide in the geneva convention. Literally profited from human rights abuses and war crimes during a so called time of peace.

VERY good point.
Even the inventor of the PCR Test, (so called gold standard), said it was anything but a standard for testing something like CV.
He said that Fauci knew nothing about virology and was a political hack.
Mullins Mysteriously died.

They stopped the animal trials when too many died and messed up their sales pitch.
I have a friend who was pressured into getting the lethal injection in order to get hospital treatment for something unrelated. She now has a brain tumor and hospice wants to put her down even though she has no pain at this time.

So we arent to call out evil? Nonsense. I think you should do a study concerning what that passage actually means

Ironically you started with the premise of do not judge then made judgements (that I agree with, I might add) and then finished with dont judge.
Ironic.
I'd be simpathetic to your cause if you broadened your focus to include adulters, whoremongers, fornicators. Porn addicts and the rest of people addicted to pleasures of the flesh.Gambling/ drinking, gossiping.

I personaly don't think so. Let's focus on salvation, not damnation.

Better pressure the justices to act faster, the left is already trying to intimidate them and write-in stuff to keep this disgusting satanic abomination going. Strike while the iron is hot!

How true.
It sadly reminds me of a friend that's been heavily medicated by a hospice even though she's not in pain. She went to a hospital for testing for an unrelated condition. They made her get a shot and gave her a brain tumor.

While those are horrible destructive sins as well they arent the subject of the thread..
I do advocate that adultery should carry some heavy penalties. One would be that the outsider who lays with a married person should pay the lets just call them ( no other spouse) a victim restitution or be exiled from our country.
Also that a fornicator who seduces a virgin should take care of them as a spouse whether the father of the house allows them any further contact or not. He pays for her up keep in other words.
Porn should be illegal to produce. The makers of such material should be subject to restitution for the damages caused.
Sexual debauchery has been a heavily destructive force in our culture.
But thats not what the thread is about. I'm not out to hijack the thread.

Vac injury really makes me angry because its swept under the rug and ignored. Not only the companies but also the politicians should be held accountable.

Hi Roughsoul,

Growing up a Catholic I was taught that there were only Catholics from Emperor Constantine until the Protestant Reformation. After I was saved I was taught likewise by many. Then I started researching and buying a handful of books on church history that existed outside of Rome and before the Reformation. There's not much left after the libraries were burned and any history outside of the narrative that the conquerors promoted. Your statement brought to mind a brief book by a Southern Baptist historian. He has his own bias but the history in under 100 pages is a condensed portion of part of his own library. He was arguably the best historian of this particular history when it was published 1913.
There were a lot of churches that practiced baptism outside of the Catholic faith. They were persecuted more than any other people groups that I know of. That's what is covers. It's not just for Baptists.
You might find it interesting. Here's a free E book and the very end has a link to the chart. The chart diagrams the various churches that had history available. It proves your point about growth under persecution. I hope you enjoy it. It only takes just a few evenings, but is very interesting.

I humble myself. Being adopted, and not knowing my own bio-race, I've devloped a strong dislike to notions that we are any "better than". We're all sinners. Thereby in many forms we (our souls) are nearly held in slavery by our flesh. Jesus understood that and died for us inspite of our grevious natures.

We would not be exempt of judgement under the law. We are saved by grace..Never forget it!

I didn't intend to derail this, however as someone that was picked on & abandoned it really bugs me when people focus on a sin or two to campaign against.

It's a battle between the flesh and the spirit. The flesh will lose!

that's all.

That's all

Yes, but we shouldn't confuse the role of the church and the role of government. The Bible tells us that government is ordained by God and needed for people to even reach a state beyond a pagan. The Bible has a lot to teach on how government should and shouldn't operate. Part of that is morality. Laws are made on morality. So in order to have a moral nation, we need moral laws.

Just because I'm a sinner saved by grace doesn't mean we shouldn't try to deter the ills of sin like murder, stealing, rape, broken families (divorce, lgbt, abuse of welfare), etc.

True. The laws of the land should be the criminal laws of God's Word. Some are tempted to steal, renig on a contract, acting upon their lust, coveting, etc. There are a few temptations that are not common to man.
I'd like add that most men find things that go unmentioned in private between sodomites extremely reprehensible. I believe that the reason is that most become that way because they reject God of the Bible and don't even want to think about Him "retain Him in their minds." Therefore they are turned over to a Reprobate mind. These days, preachers aren't allowed to preach on that subject because they will lose members, be ostracized by sassy lesbians and go through persecution. So, the most wicked are emboldened and implacable, unable to be appeased. They went from,
"Don't judge them" and want to quote the passage about the woman taken in adultery in order to justify any of their sins.
Now, they are grooming kids in gt schools and libraries, even bringing in pot bellied pedo strippers. The bearded lady used to be a carnival freak show. Now it's walking into a classroom near you throughout the USA.
Now I'm waiting for the "christian" lesbians to tell me off.
I'm new here. Is there a group that participates in the forum that I'll expect flack from?
