in fact, unfermented wine was used as a symbol of God's blessing to His people in the Old Testament.

like here --

Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart,
for God has already approved what you do.
Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil.

(Ecclesiastes 9:7-8)
clearly such things as delicious snacks, nourishing freshly-squeezed pasteurized grape juice, fancy clothes & moisturizing facials at the spa are blessings from God.

our daily bread

Part of the reason that prompted this question is that Pastor Steven Anderson said that "oene" in the NT refers to non-alcoholic fruit juice.
I'd be interested in reading others' opinions.
He is WRONG, every Jewish person drank fermented wine with their meals. Welches did not make grape juice until around the 1800's.
Wine Skins do not burst due to grape juice.

I have, dozens of times all the way through. I was simply stating the point that no one has submitted scripture stating Jesus drank wine.

I'm very familiar with the passages. Why would you say this? All I was stating is that no one in this entire thread has posted any scripture stating the facts. That's all. I wasn't saying he did or didn't.
Jesus drank wine. I and others have posted relevant Scripture. Now your stating that "no one has submitted scripture stating Jesus drank wine" has been resolved.

Genesis 14:18
Melchizedek king of ·Salem [C probably an old name of Jerusalem] brought out bread and wine. He was a priest for God Most High [Ps. 110; Heb. 5:6–10; 6:20—7:28]

Hebrews 7
The Priest Melchizedek
Melchizedek [C a priest and king in the time of Abraham; Gen. 14:17–24; Heb. 5:6, 10; 6:20] was the king of Salem [C another name for Jerusalem, meaning “peace”; v. 2] and a priest for God Most High. He met Abraham when Abraham was coming back after ·defeating [L the slaughter of] the kings [Gen. 14:17–19]. When they met, Melchizedek blessed Abraham, and Abraham ·gave [L apportioned/divided to] him a ·tenth [tithe] ·of everything he had brought back from the battle [L of everything]. First, Melchizedek’s name means “king of ·goodness [righteousness; justice],” and he is king of Salem [C another name for Jerusalem], which means “king of peace.” ·No one knows who Melchizedek’s father or mother was [L …without father, without mother], ·where he came from [L without genealogy], ·when he was born, or when he died [L having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; C something unstated was assumed not to exist]. Melchizedek is like the Son of God; he continues being a priest forever [C Melchizedek’s unmentioned genealogy in Genesis is, by analogy, like Jesus’ eternal Sonship and priesthood]. ..

Hebrews 7:15
Jesus Is like Melchizedek
And this becomes even more clear ·when we see that [L if] another priest ·comes [arises; appears on the scene] who is like Melchizedek [vv. 1–14].

Ezra 3:7
Rebuilding the Temple
Then they gave money to the ·bricklayers [masons] and carpenters. They also gave food, ·wine [drink], and olive oil to the cities of Sidon and Tyre so they would ·float [bring] cedar logs from Lebanon to the seacoast town of Joppa. Cyrus king of Persia had given permission for this.

Ezra 6:9
Give those people anything they need—young bulls, ·male sheep [rams], or lambs for burnt offerings [Lev. 1:1–17] to the God of heaven, or wheat, salt, wine, or olive oil. Give the priests in Jerusalem anything they ·ask for [require] every day without fail.

Nehemiah 2:1
Nehemiah Is Sent to Jerusalem
It was the month of Nisan [C early spring] in the twentieth year Artaxerxes was king [C 445 bc]. Wine was brought ·for him [or to me]. I took some and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before.

Job 32:19
I am like wine that has ·been bottled up [no vent/opening]; I am ready to burst like a new leather wine bag.

Psalm 75:8
The Lord holds a cup in his hand; it is ·full of wine mixed with [foaming wine full of] spices [C the cup of God’s wrath; 60:3; Jer. 25:15–29; Nah. 3:11; Matt. 26:39]. He pours it out ·even to the last drop [until its dregs drain out], and the wicked drink it all.

Proverbs 23:20
Don’t ·drink too much [get drunk on] wine or ·eat too much food [L stuff yourself with meat].

Matthew 9:17
Also, people never pour new wine into old ·leather bags [wineskins]. Otherwise, the ·bags [wineskins] will ·break [burst; C because the fermenting wine expands], the wine will spill, and the ·wine bags [wineskins] will be ruined.
