Me always wanted one a 'dem.
We are better off without one.

The 613 laws are a hefty burden to carry around....
Because if my "to do" list is longer than 3 items I forget something.

Your honey do list? ☺️

If you can't remember 3 how do you remember 10? 🤪

I think if we act like the stone throwers in our own defense that they win. Because that ignorant hateful behavior they exhibit is a warning.

Unbelieve are mounting an offense against the people of God. Seeking us out in our own communities to mount an offense.

We're a threat. They're afraid.

If we cast stones in return they'll think they win over us living the truth of Christ.

If we abandon his teachings in order to get down in the satanic trenches with them and stand toe to toe. Making our regeneration from that worldly fault a myth. Given how easy it was for them to goad us down to their level. That's what they want.

They're lost and damned and they know it.

They're just trying to get satisfaction now to satisfy their belief.

That the gospel is a lie. Which is why they disrespect it by insisting on lies, false doctrine, as the truth.

Ignore them, or openly pray for them here.

Because we will never ever reach them with the gospel truth because it isn't up to us to lead the dead into the light of life. It is God who leads those he calls to himself.

Those type devils are in every Christian and Bible forum on the Internet. Browse and see.

🙏💕 God protects us. They know this and hate that too.
Children are mean. They understand that if they bite someone and get bit back, they'll stop biting.
If someone is verbally rude to me and is the one who starts it and won't stop, I'll try to stop them. If that doesn't work, on ignore they go. I'm done with being upset all the time because of the stupidity of others. If I have half the forum on ignore, that means I have half of a forum who I want to talk to. I like talking with adults.

As do all adults. Which is why I don't resort to the language tactic of the bratty unbelieving child who lives to bait Christians in their own communities.

We know them by their behaviors. Brats are easy ti identify.

I don't have anyone on ignore. If I just wait patiently they eventually put me on ignore lol

The world's going to hell in a handbasket, and we're arguing about whether Jesus drank wine or grape juice!
I thought it was a handbag.
So.... is it handbag or handbasket?
I feel so confused now.

I really think this deserves some attention.

If we're going to tell people they're going to hell, we really need to know if it's in a handbag or a handbasket.

This needs a doctrinal resolution.

They have a point.

As to the question, which holds more? Handbags or baskets?
Size matters.

I just put the name of someone on my ignore list.

I found I can only be witness to enemies of the actual gospel for so long.

I did that after realizing the reason a particular thread accrued so many pages was due to an anti-gospel instigator.

How busy would any Christian forum be were it not for the trolls and their satanic trolling?🤔

well there's a difference between obstinate people preaching bad doctrine, and actual trolls.
but both kinds of threads get a lot of attention, and the place is a much quieter when neither is active.

we tend to say a lot more about something we disagree with than we do when we agree, you know?
the difference between clicking 'like' and writing several paragraphs to refute some weird idea

I find both are useful. The like critique and a few words.Or paragraphs.

If two paragraphs lead genuine people to look for the rest of the story on their own, and that leads to their better understanding of God's word and will, it is God's gift.
God opens the carnal mind to seek his path.

If those paragraphs fall on deaf ears, obstinate false teachers, or trolls, they will show us whom among those two camps they are.
Obstinacy is commensurate with trolling. Certainly you're long lived on a forum to know that.

Not all trolls hit and run.

It does. Misrepresenting the teaching, hopefully not so much.

We know wine in scripture is alcoholic because Noah planted a vineyard. And then sinned and became drunk on wine.

Drinking alcohol is not the sin. Becoming drunk on alcohol is.
Ephesians 5:18 “ Do not be drunk with wine.”

If what you claim is true Paul condemned Timothy to sin. 1 Timothy 5.
21 I charge thee in the sight of God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without [d]prejudice, doing nothing by partiality. 22 Lay hands hastily on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. 23 Be no longer a drinker of water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities. 24 Some men’s sins are evident, going before unto judgment; and some men also they follow after. 25 In like manner also [e]there are good works that are evident; and such as are otherwise cannot be hid.

1 Timothy 4:
1.But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, [a]branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.

6 If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed until now: 7 but refuse profane and old wives’ fables. And exercise thyself unto godliness: 8 for bodily exercise is profitable [b]for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come.

I don't. This is a very important forum for the maturing of the body, if used properly. Sigh.
I admit, I either put people on ignore, or eventually pick up stones and throw them back so people will stop throwing them at me. What do the young people think?
I see that you left the site again. Say it ain't so, Joe.
