How is the KJV corrupt?

Just curious, do you use the KJV exclusively? I'm interested in some of the other historic Bibles that were put together in a more responsible manner than most modern versions are, but which might take a slightly different linguistic approach than the KJV.

Right now I use the KJV and the original languages, trying to find a good interlinear and maybe another historic reliable Bible.

In my case, I've always been really bad with numbers, so chapter and verse references don't work well for me. Words and phrases stick in my head really well, though. Being able to type in a verse and have the passage pop up is hugely beneficial for me. Also being able to copy and paste verses quickly is great!

I've got an app on my phone too, which is great, being able to carry the Bible with me anywhere conveniently.

e-Sword has a ton of features, I'm not sure about audio though. On a computer at least, if you need it, you could set up Windows accessibility options to have the computer read it for you, I'm sure.

Yes. I use the KJV exclusively, and also use Bible Hub for any clarification. You can find all the modern versions on that site, as well as the major commentaries (if you choose).

I have heard quite a bit about e-Sword over the years... but with the internet at
our fingertips, is it really necessary to have such a thing on your personal device?
It's great that you benefit from it so much, though Does it have audio also?

i found e-sword too big of an app. it takes up a lot of space with a lot of things i'm not usually interested in looking at -- on my phone i have a simple, small program (('openbibles')) that is just several translations that i loaded into it, so i can just read the Bible, without a bunch of bells and whistles.

agree with your point tho -- when i want to dig into Greek or Hebrew definitions and cross-references, i open up the internet on another device. we are enormously blessed to have all that at our fingertips!!
on my phone all i want to do is read the text, so the only Bible app i have is little more than just that: the text

Me, I have three browsers going at most times, four right now, each with multiple tabs open: 41 on this browser (Edge), 185 in FireFox (shocking even me LOL; they are mostly image searches); 5 in Chrome (where I watch Netflix and do research related to what I am viewing, which is currently a documentary on Bobby Kennedy); and 22 tabs open in my newest browser from CCleaner. I have taken of late to do my Scripture searches in that browser

The BSB seems to be the one I use most nowadays, but it also has weak spots.

I rarely refer to the KJV. The language is 17th century, grammar and word meanings have changed a lot in the centuries since. For example, "Conversation" to us means talking. In the KJV, it means way of life. I've heard false teaching based on conversation as meant by the KJV. It's not the translator's fault, times have changed.
