Yes, I often have to remember a key word or phrase, also, and finding the verse it is in, I go to Biblehub, which lists about 30 translation versions. I understand e-Sword has maps and all kinds of features, very in depthIn my case, I've always been really bad with numbers, so chapter and verse references don't work well for me. Words and phrases stick in my head really well, though. Being able to type in a verse and have the passage pop up is hugely beneficial for me. Also being able to copy and paste verses quickly is great!
I've got an app on my phone too, which is great, being able to carry the Bible with me anywhere conveniently.
e-Sword has a ton of features, I'm not sure about audio though. On a computer at least, if you need it, you could set up Windows accessibility options to have the computer read it for you, I'm sure.

Yes. I use the KJV exclusively, and also use Bible Hub for any clarification. You can find all the modern versions on that site, as well as the major commentaries (if you choose).
I have heard quite a bit about e-Sword over the years... but with the internet at
our fingertips, is it really necessary to have such a thing on your personal device?

Me, I have three browsers going at most times, four right now, each with multiple tabs open: 41 on this browser (Edge), 185 in FireFox (shocking even me LOL; they are mostly image searches); 5 in Chrome (where I watch Netflix and do research related to what I am viewing, which is currently a documentary on Bobby Kennedy); and 22 tabs open in my newest browser from CCleaner. I have taken of late to do my Scripture searches in that browser
The BSB seems to be the one I use most nowadays, but it also has weak spots.
Absolutely. Galatians 2:20 is the only verse that the KJV gets right and others get wrong. I would like to buttonhole a translator and ask them why they don't translate it correctly. We live by the faith of the Son of God! That's what the literal translation says. How hard can it be?Same here

Some function better for certain purposes than others... for instance, Firefox, where I have all those image searches open, functions best for a user-to-user card game I play occasionally. In other browsers, all the sound effects are not there (most I don't care about anyways, but the in-game ones are handy to let you know what is going on if you are momentarily not looking directly at the screen), but there are also options to select/say specific things in-game, or that give the play-by-play, and those messages do not display properly in other browsers. On my other laptop, all the icons above the message box here did not show up in certain browsers. I have not checked to see if that is still an issue on this new laptop. Also, in some browsers, I do not like the way some things download. That is why I use Firefox for my image searches, though I have been downloading fonts in Edge no problem. CCleaner--- I am not even sure how I got it. LOL. But since I have so much going on in the other browsers, I thought I would start using it for Bible related searches. I also use it for youtube. I just signed into CC on CCleaner and it had all the icons and the draft for this message in this thread, so it seems to function well
