your understanding is not correct. The Council of Nicaea was formed to combat 1. Gnosticism 2. defend the literal death burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul had to battle this, Peter had to, John was the last one, then Gnosticism went away for a period but came back very strong as we see the gnostic gospels came to be 100 years after the death of John the last Apostle. Polycarp talks about this.

The Eternal Godhead is well seen in the word of God the concept of the Trinity is well seen in the word of God. Those who try to reduce the Lord Jesus Christ from the rightful place GOD had to raise HIm to is fighting God not man's understanding.

For God has given HIm a name above all others:

Phil 2:9-11

"9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
more information please. thanks daniel

What absolute confusion when it doesn't have to be this way. God is Jehovah, Jesus or Yeshua is the Son or Michael the Arcangel and the holy spirit is God/Jehovah's active force or power that he allows whom he chooses to access it. Why all the confusion.

Oh so are you SDA OR Jehovah Witness?
The Michael comment gave you away.
Jesus is GODS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,not an angel, nor created being.

The greatest farce in the whole Trinity Doctrine is that is God/Jesus/Holy Spirit are one in the same then: 1) you're telling me God/Jesus/HS died, who resurrected them because if one dies, they all die, 2) If they all three are one person then Mary carried God in her stomach which would be utterly impossible for such a thing to happen. God is greater in dynamic energy than the Sun if he came even close to the Earth, we would all go up in flames in an instant! 3) If God/Jesus/HS are one then who was Jesus talking to when he was dying, himself because he is God/Jesus/HS? You cannot separate them when it is convenient either they are one in the 3 godheads, or they are not. First, you need to know what the Trinity Doctrine teaches and then you would know that it doesn't measure up. 4) If I am the Father, how can I be the Son also? 5) John 5:19-20 Jesus clearly tells you he can't do a thing without his Father approves it first. John 17:1-5, where is the person HS in this passage, nowhere because the HS is not a person. Trinitarians pray for TRUTH!

1. First off, No one has ever said that but you.
2. they the eternal Godhead are three distinct personifications of One. Which Mary carried by the power of the Holy Spirit Who is God which God of the Bible is omnipresent, yet can still be near, and apart from people.
3. Again the Trinity Doctrine does not teach all One person the word of God shows us God the Father Creator of all, God the Son, who is from the Father and is God and God the Holy Spirit who is also from God and all three have distinction, Personality, Coe Equal, and all are eternal separate yet one.
4. The Father and the Son are one Because Jesus said they were " For my Father and I are One."
5. Jesus in John chapter 5:19-20 is speaking of what is known as the doctrine of Kenosis "the emptying of one's self.

Jesus who is God relied on the Holy Spirit as aman on earth and did nothing without the Father. HE was in the perfect will of GOD.

When those like you attack what you do not know because what we do know of GOD and when speaking of the eternal Godhead we must speak reverently and with humility, why?

Because I nor you can fully know all about the Eternal Godhead due to our being finite, and God is unlimited.

The concept of the Trinity is not saying we know all about God but what it does is bring clear Biblical

the distinction to God who is the Father, God who is the Son, and God who is the Holy Spirit as seen in scripture. Three COE-equal, COE- Eternal, and Three distinctions and personification of each one YET are still ONE.

That is seen in the very word of God

that is false teaching. I will let you know referring to the Holy Spirit as force is profaning the Holy Spirit. That teaching is from JW's which is a theological cult.

It is actually the soul of Jesus that died and became an offering for our sins (Isaiah 53:10).

The death of the Father and the Holy Ghost occurred only in that death can be defined as separation...

And therefore they died when they were separated from Jesus' body (in Luke 23:46).

The Holy Spirit is a channel that God uses to talk to us, teach us and direct us. It's like a telepathic utterance like God is sending you a message. The telephone rings, you pick it up, and you hear the voice of someone you know through the telephone. That does not make the telephone a person, but a channel by which communication is received. The Holy Spirit is God's force that he uses the same way we use a telephone.
False doctrine.

I conclude that Jesus and the Father are the same Lord.
Your conclusion is a confusion of the words. For instance:

Gen 19:24: "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;"

Two LORD'S. Two Persons/Beings acting in harmonious concert together as Father (Heaven) and Son (earth).

One standing in earth (see Gen. 17-19).

One standing in Heaven.

And while they are two distinct Persons, they are not two beings but One (James 2:19).

Death is defined as Seperation of Body and Spirit. James 2:26
Since the Father and Holy Spirit did not take on a physical body they would not have died physically.

n Stewart :: Who Brought Jesus Back from the Dead?

The Bible has much to say about the mode of Jesus resurrection. It testifies that the three members of the Trinity were involved in Jesus resurrection.
God The Father Raised Jesus
The Bible says that God the Father brought Jesus back from the dead.
God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear (Acts 2:32,33).
Paul wrote.
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life (Romans 6:4).
Paul wrote to the Galatians.
Paul, an apostle - sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead (Galatians 1:1).
By raising Jesus from the dead God the Father reversed the death sentence that was pronounced on Him and exalted Him to the Lord of glory.
Jesus Brought Himself Back From The Dead
Jesus also arose by His own power.
Then the Jews demanded of him, "What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?" Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days (John 2:18,19).
Speaking of His life Jesus declared.
No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father (John 10:18).
The Holy Spirit Raised Jesus
The third Person of the Trinity was also involved in the resurrection.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you (Romans 8:11).
Peter wrote.
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit (1 Peter 3:18).
God Raised Jesus
We also have statements that God raised Jesus. Peter said.
But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him (Acts 2:24).
Peter said to Cornelius.
But God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen (Acts 10:40).
Paul wrote.
But God raised him from the dead (Acts 13:30).
In these contexts God could refer to the Father or to the entire Trinity.
Summary
All three members of the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit were involved in the resurrection of Jesus. The resurrection is individually ascribed to each one of them.

Luke 1:15
He will be a great man for the Lord. He will never drink wine or beer. Even before he is born, he will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Luke 1:41
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the unborn baby inside her jumped, and she was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Luke 1:67
Zechariah Praises God
Then Zechariah, John’s father, was filled with the Holy Spirit and told the people a message from God:

Luke 4:1
Jesus Is Tempted by the Devil
Now filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan River. And then the Spirit led him into the desert.

None of these people who were filled with God's Spirit burned up. So, your claim is illogical and silly.

Ephesians 5:18
Easy-to-Read Version
18 Don’t be drunk with wine, which will ruin your life, but be filled with the Spirit.

Colossians 2:9
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Jesus did not burn up. which makes your claim mute.

I (ego) am speaking to you. Ego is the ultimate proof that I am a person. Acts 13:2 was pointed out already.

Wow, you act like a zombi even when the truth of Scripture is pointed out to you. The Holy Spirit in Acts 13:2 speaks I (ego) which is still the hallmark that he is a person.

How do you know that the Father is a person?

"
How does the Holy Spirit fare up under this criteria?

1. The Spirit teaches and reminds.

John 14:26, “the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

1 Corinthians 2:13, “We impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.

2. The Spirit speaks.

Acts 8:29, “the Spirit said to Philip, ‘Go over and join this chariot.’

Acts 13:2, “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.'”

3. The Spirit makes decisions.

Acts 15:28, “it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements.”

3. The Spirit can be grieved.

Ephesians 4:30, “do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

4. The Spirit can be outraged.

Hebrews 10:29, “How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has . . . outraged the Spirit of grace?”

5. The Spirit can be lied to.

Acts 5:3, 4, “why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit? . . . You have not lied to men but to God‘”

6. The Spirit can forbid or prevent human speech and plans.

Acts 16:6-7, “they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them.”

7. The Spirit searches everything and comprehends God’s thoughts.

1 Corinthians 2:10-11, “the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. . . . no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

8. The Spirit apportions spiritual gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:11, “the same Spirit . . . apportions [spiritual gifts] to each one individually as he wills.”

9. The Spirit helps us, intercedes for us, and has a mind.

Romans 8:26-27, “the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”

10. The Spirit bears witness to believers about their adoption

Romans 8:16, “The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”

11. The Spirit bears witness to Christ.

“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

12. The Spirit glorifies Christ, takes what is Christ, and declares it to believers.

John 16:14, “He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.”"

10 But they rebelled

and grieved his Holy Spirit;

and himself fought against them.

"Guidance – The Holy Spirit leads Believers through life, bestowing wisdom (Is. 11:2; Eph. 1:17), giving discernment (1 John 4:1; 1 Cor. 2:14), convicting of sin (Rom. 2:15; John 16:33), correcting errant thoughts (Ps. 94:12), offering encouragement (2 Tim. 1:7), and delivering from temptation (1 Cor. 10:13), among many more of His shepherding activities. The fact that the Holy Spirit is a person can be observed in six ways.
  1. He has the characteristics of a person.
  2. He acts like a person.
  3. He is treated as a person.
  4. He has the ministry of a person.
  5. He is mentioned in connection with other persons.
  6. He is the Third Person of the Trinity, and therefore, is personal.
We will now consider the personality of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit Has the Characteristics of a Person
The Scriptures attribute to the Holy Spirit characteristics that only a person can truly possess. He is portrayed as a thinking being, a being who has a mind, an emotional being, and a volitional (or choosing) being.
The Holy Spirit Is a Thinking Being
The Bible says that the Holy Spirit has the intellectual capacity to think and know. These are the marks of personhood.
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Corinth about this aspect of the Spirit of God. He put it in this manner.
But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by his Spirit, and his Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God’s deep secrets. No one can know what anyone else is really thinking except that person alone, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10, 11 NLT).
Although no human being can understand the mind of God, the Bible says that Holy Spirit is able to do this. The Holy Spirit thinks, searches, and uses reason. These things imply personality. In fact, the word translated, “search” is the same one used by Jesus in John 5:39 where He said the following to the religious leaders.
You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you possess eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me (John 5:39 TNIV).
The word has the idea to, “examine or investigate.” Since the Spirit is said to “search all things” this implies personality. He searches the deep things of God and reveals them to believers.
