John 15:12
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Amen and Awoman

Lets find the lost sheep, whether they are men or women

I can't give you a thumbs-up on this, because "Amen" has nothing whatsoever to do with gender, and "Awoman" (Awomen) was a profoundly ignorant attempt at virtue signalling by the American politician who said it.

It's somewhat like the word, "manual"; it has nothing to do with males, but with hands... as in handbook. :)

It means men and women are equal, if you think men and women are not equal so be it..

Amen means SO BE IT, whether spoken by a man or a woman

As mentioned Jesus created them BOTH and they are EQUAL if we choose to obey HIM and treat them as equals as He showed us.

They didn't fear for their lives and run, the men did. The women shouldnt fear for their lives now, if they are in the SPIRIT.

PS, As my introduction states I am not political and do not believe in politics as the answer or brlirvr that the Lord is a Republican or Democrat,

I think the issue may be that there are emotions about this topic. There is great offense about this topic. There are disagreements about this topic. That is normal. I was very deeply offended by this topic when I was in my 20s and first started to seek after God in his word. Many a time have I been offended about things and put the book away. But, God keeps bringing me back again and again. For that, I can't even comprehend his lovingkindness.

Psalm 119:176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
Agreed!

You see, men are married to and are children of women and when those women belive that they can be Ordained Pastors, those men naturally support there women......at the expense of Gods Word to keep the peace in the family.

Dont know about the abbreviation churches, you mention. Sounds hierarchical if you ask me. After you receive Jesus, He is suppose to be our head whether male or female. He is our husband as it states in prophetic Isaiiah
Absolutely correct. But equality between husband and wife does not then destroy the Word of God which says that the MAN is the head of the household and the wife.

AOG = Assembly of God.

The Lord said, He looks on the heart not the genitals. He created male and female to be equal. to have HIM as the head. He says, there should be no other hierarchy betwwween Him and anyones heart. Women can not blame men, and men can not blame women. Each and every individual is responsible to the Lord. IMO FME (In my opinion from my experience)
I assume that you have studied the Bible. However, your postings do not seem to say that to me.

Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.

Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Ephesians 5:22-24
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

Colossians 3:18
Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

1 Peter 3:1
Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives.

How do you understand those Scriptures?????

Now being the head does not imply superiority and those Scripturas do not inly that, however they do say that the MAN is in authority over his WIFE for purposes of accountability.

You need to keep something in mind. When he spoke to Eve with those, he was also speaking to men. Your desire is to be for Jesus and he shall rule over you.

You are to submit to Jesus.

Likewise, you are to submit to Jesus.

There is no worldly sense of any of this other than the sign of husband and wife on earth. But, the lesson is for man, not limited to women.

This has been abused in the world for a long time. There are still men today that do not believe women should have the right to vote, inherit property or the right to hold positions of leadership in governments. And there are still men in the world that believe it's acceptable to have more than one wife. There still are men like this who do not understand those commands to Eve are also commands to them.

That does not make sense of the text. God cursed the serpent, and told Adam and Eve what the terrible consequences of their sin would be. The ground was cursed, women's pain in childbirth was increased, husbands would rule over wives (men over women), and instead of the ground producing edible plants without effort, it would produce thorns and thistles, and only by hard work would it produce food.

Yes but if you point at fellowships that do appoint women to leadership positions against what you believe the word of God those fellowships are entitled to point back and say but you yourselves do not make appointments to leadership according to God's word.
Ho hum. More red herrings.

I never brandished my qualifications, experience not knowledge to be greater nor lesser than your own. I can only assume a raw nerve has been touched and pride hurt. I can offer no apologies for either if so. You have yet again brandished yourself as the oracle on the topic. A topic which I have other agreed nor disagreed with you on for the record. I offer no red herrings, rather only plain old common sense, based on basic bible principles of how to discuss things respectfully with fellow brethren. You may not recognise that because of your manner of presenting your views on the topic though. Yes we can certain stop here right enough.

It is a true saying indeed, that knowledge puffs up but love edifies. I am sure you mean well, but it is not good to esteem yourself higher than others.
Being autistic, most emotions bypass me so I don't suffer from hurt pride or have raw nerves.

I have brandished nothing. I have given what I have found from long and extensive study. if that offends you so be it.

When I am studying the word of God I do not consider common sense to be my guide. I much prefer the leading of the Holy Spirit because the scripture says he will lead us into all truth. I don't read that common sense will guide us into all truth.

The fact that you claim you have not disagreed with me is a figment of your over active imagination.

What I recognise is that God has annointed me with the gift of teaching which I didn't ask for but who am I to argue.

In all probability you have nothing to brandish other than your opinion and which upsets you because of your lack of knowledge.

And that is usually because you suffer from rejection, which prevents you from accepting what anyone says if it conflicts with your own views.

I guessd God gave me the gift of teaching because I had shown myself over the years to be very teachable. I have found over the years that if someone knows more than me, I never challenged them. I listend ever more carefully to see what I could learn from them. That helps when you have two ears and one mouth.

My scriptures from the Lord, say we eaxh are accountable. The woman can not blame the man, and the man can not blame the woman. We are suppose to obey the Lord, our husband as I mentioned...

Men are fallible, the Lord is not. Pray and ask the Lord what to do as we are e achg responsible to serve the Lord. No one can do it for us.... obey your husgand in the Lord, for we are individually bought with a price whether male por female.

But the churches like a hierarchy and tell women to keep silent even when the women could be in the SPIRIT.

Gender is not a determining factor with the Lord. Should I repeat all the scriptures I posted again, and showw they are the infallible word of GOD, that men and women are EQUAL. What part of equality dont you understand.

Again, the Lord looks at the heart not the external. Genes dont determine our submissiveness, we are suppose to be submissive to the Lord, our Master. Church people aren't full timers in most cases... thats their choice, And the church does love silence, and submission

How many great female servants of the Lord have been lost because church doctrine dictates that they keep silent and be submissive to their earthly husbands because the earthly husbands want total dominance, when these women have been bought with a price to be the wifes of the Lord. They need to serve the Lord, their true HUSBAND and witness his freedom to win others.

Women can teach men or women when they have been annointed by the Lord. But in the church systems of this world, . >the men love to dominate and demand that women be subject to them.

Women can prophesy, teach, and serve the Lord their God as much as any man. Genitals is not the determining factor. The Lord created BOTH EQUAL. How many souls have been lost because of male pride.

If every woman pastor is illegal and not biblical then every male pastor on this forum should rise up and tell them to be silent, cease and desist HERE from starting or adding to this forum. They should be reported.

Be logical, and consistent. Listen to women as your equals, here and in this forum. Jesus did..

“Your desire shall be contrary to your husband but he shall rule over you...”
A woman born of Eve shall have a nature contrary to her husband (to rule over her husband) but God has commanded a different order, that the husband shall rule.
When a woman “pastor’s” she not only defies God’s command given to us by Paul (1Timothy...) but she also exhibits a fallen nature ordained by God in Genesis 3.
The curse of the woman is to struggle with a nature that desires to rule (even after salvation) If she gives in to this desire by taking the pulpit she exhibits submission to her fallen nature and is not of the faith. She must repent and believe the gospel.
@Jordan This a place of informal discussion among Christian men and women, very different from standing in a pulpit as a pastor.

It's the spiritual context. Paul has described the relationship between a husband and wife as the relationship between God and man. God himself describes himself as a husband to Israel. Also as a father.

As for the ground yielding thorns and thistles to Adam, these are the spiritual "tares" among men. Adam is going to be the man that is the help mete to his husband, the Lord Jesus in a spiritual capacity that will teach men of God. Husbandmen of the vineyards, God's church. Keeper of the garden, all spiritual concepts of man's ministry to men as a servant of God.

The pain of childbirth and the cursed and sorrowful yield of the earth, the grief of a prophet like Jeremiah, for instance, prophesying truth to the people and they will not believe, etc.

This is another example of why God never accepted or respected the work and yield of Cain's labor.

And so on and so forth.

God cursed the serpent and the ground, not the woman. There is no command in 1 Timothy precluding a woman from pastoring; the word doesn't appear there at all. Genesis 3 does not say that the woman's nature would be contrary to her husband to rule over him, and God did not "ordain" that the husband shall rule; He spoke it as a terrible consequence of sin; not that the husband is supposed to rule, but that he would, as a result of his sinfulness.

Nowhere in Scripture is a command given to person "B" which is directly applicable to person "A". If God had commanded men to rule their wives, He would have said to Adam, "You shall rule over her", rather than to Eve, "He shall rule over you."

Matthew 4:8-9
Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. "All this I will give You," he said, "if You will fall down and worship me."

The Mormon, and so many others, have taken that line of bull hook and sinker, and thereby have left the foundation of their citadel to crumbling.
