The Holy Spirit convicts the regenerated people to repent, but he does not convict the natural man,1 Cor 2:14, to repent of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot understand, and thinks it to be foolishness.
one is not regenerated just because the HS convicts them.

1 John 2:2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Sorry, I am believing John here, not what you've been taught
He said "believing" doesn't cause us to obtain salvation...but didn't Jesus say in John 6:29 KJV that believing is the very thing we must do to obtain it?

Amen - these same folks who insist there's a middle ground between regenerate and unregenerate don't realize that is no different than suggesting there's a middle ground between pregnant and not pregnant.

Man, I admire your tenacity bro! Feinstein, Pelosi, that insane Governor...did you ever think Cali would turn out as communist as it did? I mean, they voted a Republican in not that long ago, albeit a Hollywood RINO LOL
I have been a street preacher in CA for over 30 years and have fought and will continue to do so. I have been taking the 10 or more judgment approach in CA. I believe there are far more than 10 righteous in California and I and well as other are called to stand in the gap to see those unsaved families member and friends saved. God is faithful to me and my family and I need to be more obedient to HIm. Repentance starts with the man in the mirror then I call on my God to save that which is lost.

Those California leaders will answer to the living God.

"If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." Faith is a daily walk.
1 Corinthians 15:31
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me
Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh
Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live
You are blind to the truth because of your corrupt dogma. It's a shame you and others have been taught a falsehood
I too for a season used to read those verses the same way . I was influenced into reading those texts that way . But then i actually started reading the bible properly without the influence and could understand how salvation works . I no longer hold to Lordship salvation ' its a deception to hinder the furtherance of the Gospel. What better way to ham string a believer, than to keep him busy on himself and in fear .

The Bible says so: Doesn't Peter say after we escape this polluted world, but then jump back in, the latter end of us will be worse than the beginning?

The problem is you guys want "escaped" to mean "still trapped" in order to make Peter refer to unconverted sinners when he is in no uncertain terms referring to "washed" saints who are washed in the blood of Jesus.

The next time a convict escapes, will you get the warden and tell him, "Call off the search, he's still trapped in prison"?
Peter also said that those that are godly, the Lord know how to deliver them out of temptations. and Magenta's verse says that they shall never perish.
Peter does not say that the latter end is eternal hell.

When a regenerated person commits a sin (jumps back into the world) God pricks his newly changed heart to feel guilt and he repents.

He is never in danger of losing his eternal inheritance, that was secured on the cross. I agree that Peter is talking to saints that are washed in the blood of Jesus.

Which parts aren’t to us?
Well the context helps us . Who is the Author addressing? What is the central message . Who's the audience ? Who's speaking? What timeline is it ? Is it OT or NT ? Is it pre law or after ? Is it before Jesus is born or after ? Is it pre crucifixion? Pre burial, pre resurrection? pre ascension? Pre giving of the Holy Spirit ? Is it addressed to the Jews / Israel or gentiles? Is it addressed to the body, the church ? Is it pre Paul's conversion ? Is it post Paul's imprisonment? or before? Is it before the completed bible ? Is it past, present, future ?
Why does our normal principles of reading go out the window when it comes to the bible?

In our endeavor to interpret the scriptures, it is important to seek out the Greek meanings of words in the scriptures.

Thayer's concordance says that the word "world" in John 1:29, 3:16, 3:17, 6;33, 12:27, 1 Cor 4:9, and 2 Cor 5:9 are used of believers only. I have a reverence in my bible referring 1 John 2:2 to John 1:29 saying that this "world" in 1 John 2:2 is also used of believers only.

As a believer indwelt by the Holy Spirit , which is made possible AFTER the cross and the resurrection, its not possible to not ' abide ' with Jesus.
We read in Ephesians 2.6 that we are seated in the heavenly places in christ Jesus. And that we are sealed by the Holy Spirit UNTO the day of redemption. Eph 1 .12-13 , Eph 4.30 .
Bible believers don't see this as ' licence as Paul was accused of preaching, but its the greatest motivation to tell others the good news .

Its also what took place. Its the words that were said , its the events and actions that took place. We stand on this truth. The truth of what happened . What God said and did . Over 1500 years , 40 different authors , over 3 continents , three languages, . Its historical facts. It really happened .

knowing the meaning of a Greek word that has more than one meaning is not enough. One must use the Greek translation and the word that best fits to the context in the sentence, verse, paragraph, chapter, book, and the bible as a whole. For example

in Hebrew, the word "perfect" is applied the same way as in Greek depending how it is used in the passage. a Perfect heart = one right with God. God is Perfect meaning = He is lacking nothing = holy, complete, and self-existent = Perfect the word Perfect is used to describe both things yet the word Perfect cannot apply to man as it is to God= we are not self-existent, God IS.
God is Holy we are made holy.
God lacks nothing we must take on His provision because we lack.

I am in agreement with this statement of yours. I believe that Eph 2 explains the process of being born again, in that, at the time God quickens the natural man he is yet spiritually dead, unable to respond to the things of the Spirit, as God exchanges his heart of stone with a heart of flesh, Ezek 11:19, that can respond to spiritual things, whos conscience can be pricked to feel spiritual guilt, and is given the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, in which, spiritual faith is a fruit of. Gal 5:22.

I am in agreement with you, in that, all of the scriptures must harmonize with each other, or we are misinterpreting them.
