Hi, I would offer as always we must be careful how we hear. Catholisicim is very dark. . . in need of the light of the gospel .
My daughter is studying to be a nurse. Tough Job . But as a nurse if you are prepared to offer the gospel to your patients it is a work that Teresa could not. As Christian we are informed not to wrestles against flesh and blood. and either are we supported by what eyes see. . . the temporal doing it unto men as eye service is easy. Do it under God not seen can be humbling. Mother Teresa did it unto Rome noe in the the official hall of fame (patrons saints) as one of the four official mother sufferers ..
She followed another gospel .
Mix faith a living eternal hope in your work routine as unto God. Pray for your patients that they hear the good news. Not leaving them lame unable to walk by the faith of the gospel .like the gospel of Mother Tereasa. or Queen of all mothers Mary.
James 1:19Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath
The answer that gave the faith that worked in John by which he could believe Jesus as if he was standing next to him, had to do with the gospel the spiritual understanding . Healings can be used to represent as a temporal healing but never in respect to that which is seen .
The manner Teresa walked after was "the laws of her fathers," the kind of fathers Jesus called a brood of vipers. it is those who glory in the things seen and touched, lusting after its reward (false pride) . Having no future reward . No faith coming from the word of God.
The many Mathew 7..... Did wonderful works like Teresa but insisted not without what the eyes see lusting after the flesh self edification. This is as if we had a hand in the grace he give us. Fffering ones fleshly help as a suffering that can be added to Christ. . Catholicism does despite to the grace of God in that way . They perform that by saying Jesus only offered a unknown remnant of grace. Except for Mary the fulness of.. Catholics have made mother Teresa as a patron saint who also suffers for those on earth They make the fulness of God grace without effect. No mix faith in the works they do .The author of faith is left out of the picture making the temporal seen the deivne amking the true devinbne withoutefect.
Un believers who glory in their work make the word of God to no effect. They care for the flesh which is good but offer no food (gospel) for the healing of the soul You could say avoiding the true fast . Mixing the gospel messenger as part of the help you are offering. Food necessary for the bodies of death and a future hope God will grant the increase.
John understood Jesus was the mediator for the gospel .confirming the word with signs after all the metaphors used in that parable the outcome is ….the gospel is preached.
Luke 7:22Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and
tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Every metaphor in that parable... blind, lame, lepers, deaf, dead are raised they represent those who were spiritually bankrupt and now as new creatures they became rich when they heard the voice of God speak to their hearts. The witness of the Spirit of the gospel spoke to John, spoke words of comfort, words that bring to mind the things he has taught us a living hope.
Same kind of metaphors used in another parable. They shall by their new tongue (the gospel) cast out demon .ETC Again a sign they heard the gospel like those John heard.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these
signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they
cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues; They shall
take up serpents; and if they
drink any deadly thing, it
shall not hurt them; they shall
lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.Mark 16: 16-20
