The only time Jesus pointed his finger according to scripture is when he wrote in the dust defending the adulteress.
But I did read that he said...who ever is not against us is for us.
It's for God to judge not us.....at least not now. Be it best to judge your own self.....

so when Jesus said we will know them by their fruits, thats something we should just black out of the bible because it goes against the manmade theology?
we should focus more on belief and words and less on actually doing the greater good, which is exactly what Jesus said not to do when criticizing the pharisees, they teach but dont practice?
telling someone to "take it up with Jesus" makes it sound like you have nothing to support your argument. just saying.
Think what you want....if the root is corrupt, the tree is corrupt and if the tree is corrupt, the fruit of the tree is corrupt....not one of the works she did proves...

a. She was saved
b. She was good
c. She had the motive of love

Get that through your head pal.......!! As far as yout last comment....no value and or creedance whatsoever at all!!

It is not unbiblical to judge all things by the word....especially a dogma one holds to and or peddles!

so fruit has nothing to do with what we do but its all about what we say, exactly like the pharisees that Jesus was so critical of. are you making a joke or are you serious that we should be more like those pharisees?? . . . .. pal lol

MT's charity in India was busted for baby/child trafficking. Was this going on while she was alive, was she a part of it? I wasn't there can't say. However, she was put forth as the poster child for the RCC raking in untold millions, for decades. It is questionable where the money went given the deplorable conditions of some of the facilities the charities were supposedly for. ..and that information (unlike the amount of $ involved), is easily obtained.

People are not always who they appear to be.

but you just dont get it, it makes little difference if she followed in the footsteps of Jesus and lived by His teachings, the church she belonged to did not have the proper name, this means everything she did was wrong, this may not be in any scripture but thats beside the point. think of it as "religion as you go" where you just make up the rules as you see fit.
Sorry to see you are Catholic but catholicism is not the topic of this thread.

If anyone should have been on intimate terms with God and with His son
Jesus Christ in the last century, surely it had to be Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu
(a.k.a. Mother Teresa) but curiously, that wasn't the case. It turns out
Teresa was a remarkable actor. Her public image bore no resemblance
whatsoever to the secret life of her inner being. Below are some complaints
she expressed in private letters to spiritual counselors recorded in:

Mother Teresa / Come Be My Light
The Private Writings of the "Saint of Calcutta"
Edited with commentary by Father Brian Kolodiejchuk, M.C.

ISBN 978-0-385-52037-9

"I am told God loves me; and yet the reality of darkness & coldness &
emptiness is so great that nothing touches my soul."

"The place of God in my soul is blank-- There is no God in me"

"I feel He does not want me, He is not there, God does not want me"

"When I try to raise my thoughts to Heaven, there is such convicting
emptiness that those very thoughts return like sharp knives and hurt my
very soul. How painful is this unknown pain-- I have no faith."

Teresa also complained of feeling abandoned by Christ-- referring to him as
"the absent one"

Teresa was never really convinced there's a God out there.

"The damned of Hell suffer eternal punishment because they experiment
with the loss of God. In my own soul, I feel the terrible pain of this loss. I
feel that God does not want me, that God is not God; and that He does not
really exist."

At one point Teresa actually prayed thus:

"If there be God; please forgive me."

A prayer that begins with "If there be God" is the prayer of an agnostic;
which Webster's defines as one who is not committed to believing in either
the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god. According to Jas 1:5-8,
agnostic prayers are pings.

To her credit, Teresa wanted a God to be out there, but her utter failure to
feel even the slightest glimmer of the Lord's presence prevented her from
being sure about it.
_
She sounds like she was a humble woman and not the least bit arrogant and proud. She certainly knew and loved the lord in her lifetime of humble service, denying herself the pleasures of this world and instead devoted time and energy to treat the sick and the lost. Yes, the least of the Lord's brothers and sisters.

sorry that you are not underfstanding, if MT was a member of any other church as long as it was a mainstream NON Catholic church, no one would have a problem with her.

what is the point of diagnosing a person ?I don't really understand .I think she was a good woman ,and had a good heart and loved God .She had her fears and unbelief at times as we all do at certain times which shows we are humans in flesh and we have our issues .No one is perfect .She dedicated her life to a bigger cause which most people don't do
Her parents were albanians so there is one more reason for me to like her .I hope that she is with Jesus now .

I have never been to Calcutta, and I have never ministered to the poorest of the poor, and, I cannot even imagine what it would belike to, day after day, see God's children live in such unbelievably desperate conditions.

I was an RN for many years, and, some days I could barely face the frustration and anger and fear of parents of dying children, of young adults being taken from their families due to illness or injury, of the constant shortage of staff to care for the increasingly higher acute care needs. I became physically, mentally and emotionally burnt out. The conditions I worked in were fantastic compared to what Mother Theresa worked in.

John the Baptist sent two of his most trusted disiples to ask Jesus "Are you the One Who is to come, or shall we look for another?" There was John, who knew Jesus, possibly from childhood as their mothers were cousins, and who had no doubt about who Jesus was when he baptized Him in the Jordon river. He witnessed the sky opening and he heard God's blessing on Jesus, and he saw the Holy Spirt decend upon Jesus in the form of a dove.... yet, even he had a time of despair and doubt as he waited, in a petrid cell, to be executed.
Jesus send his reassurances to John, but, John is beheaded. There isn't much said in the Bible about how Jesus felt about this tragedy, but it does say that he withdrew (and the crowds followed Him). Luke 7 18-23, Luke 9: 7-9

I wonder if John felt total confusion, or if he felt the presence of God. He called out and Jesus sent back his message. Jesus heard him. I believe at the moment of his death, that John the Baptist remained assurred that Jesus was the Son of God.

The private diaries of Sr. Theresa are private painful thoughts of someone who is struggling to make a difference in a hopeless situation. Even King David struggles with the darkness of feeling abandoned by God Psalm 22.

When I am honest with myself, I know I could not work in the hopelessness of the poorest of the poor for the rest of my life.

What I am saying is, based on your post about bashing Catholics, is that there is no need to give the other denominations a pass as each one has it's all spiritual flaws, some minor and some serious, in doctrine and practices. There is no hate on my part but perhaps in yours regarding Catholics.

Hi, I would offer as always we must be careful how we hear. Catholisicim is very dark. . . in need of the light of the gospel .

My daughter is studying to be a nurse. Tough Job . But as a nurse if you are prepared to offer the gospel to your patients it is a work that Teresa could not. As Christian we are informed not to wrestles against flesh and blood. and either are we supported by what eyes see. . . the temporal doing it unto men as eye service is easy. Do it under God not seen can be humbling. Mother Teresa did it unto Rome noe in the the official hall of fame (patrons saints) as one of the four official mother sufferers ..

She followed another gospel .

Mix faith a living eternal hope in your work routine as unto God. Pray for your patients that they hear the good news. Not leaving them lame unable to walk by the faith of the gospel .like the gospel of Mother Tereasa. or Queen of all mothers Mary.

James 1:19Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath

The answer that gave the faith that worked in John by which he could believe Jesus as if he was standing next to him, had to do with the gospel the spiritual understanding . Healings can be used to represent as a temporal healing but never in respect to that which is seen .

The manner Teresa walked after was "the laws of her fathers," the kind of fathers Jesus called a brood of vipers. it is those who glory in the things seen and touched, lusting after its reward (false pride) . Having no future reward . No faith coming from the word of God.

The many Mathew 7..... Did wonderful works like Teresa but insisted not without what the eyes see lusting after the flesh self edification. This is as if we had a hand in the grace he give us. Fffering ones fleshly help as a suffering that can be added to Christ. . Catholicism does despite to the grace of God in that way . They perform that by saying Jesus only offered a unknown remnant of grace. Except for Mary the fulness of.. Catholics have made mother Teresa as a patron saint who also suffers for those on earth They make the fulness of God grace without effect. No mix faith in the works they do .The author of faith is left out of the picture making the temporal seen the deivne amking the true devinbne withoutefect.

Un believers who glory in their work make the word of God to no effect. They care for the flesh which is good but offer no food (gospel) for the healing of the soul You could say avoiding the true fast . Mixing the gospel messenger as part of the help you are offering. Food necessary for the bodies of death and a future hope God will grant the increase.

John understood Jesus was the mediator for the gospel .confirming the word with signs after all the metaphors used in that parable the outcome is ….the gospel is preached.

Luke 7:22Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

Every metaphor in that parable... blind, lame, lepers, deaf, dead are raised they represent those who were spiritually bankrupt and now as new creatures they became rich when they heard the voice of God speak to their hearts. The witness of the Spirit of the gospel spoke to John, spoke words of comfort, words that bring to mind the things he has taught us a living hope.

Same kind of metaphors used in another parable. They shall by their new tongue (the gospel) cast out demon .ETC Again a sign they heard the gospel like those John heard.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.Mark 16: 16-20

Its one of those things. When and how do we speak the truth of the gospel in love to those who do despite to the grace of God?

As always the power of life in death are in the tongue .

Power of life.....Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Power of death …..Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

The tongue of God as it is written is what we defend as it defends us. We put on that armor the sword of the Spirit (sola scriptura) and keep it on.

There are many differences in the many sects. But those that do despite to the grace of Christ have neither the father nor the Son .

Again their doctrine insist that the work of Christ provided an unknown remnant of grace denying the Lord that paid full the eternal wage

When we hear the word grace we think of God .When they thing of grace they look to the unknown, Limbo... or longer time period. Purgatory another unknown time period and unknown degree of suffering . . . . . with no end in view. (the gospel of doubt or wonderment.)

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Hi thanks for the reply,

I would offer.. Only God can see into the heart of all of mankind. he informs us a fools says their is no God in their heart or thinking. For us to call others fools puts us in danger. He would call us foolish as those who do not believe God as he did with the Galatians, chapter 3.

Anyone can be saved under the hearing of the gospel. It as it is written gives us the faith needed to believe. If there are Christians there its a dark place.
