In the old days, bipolar and psychological disorders were labelled as demon possession. Today however, we know the difference between demon possession and psychological disorders. The cure for demon possession is casting out through the Name of Yeshua(Jesus), and the cure for psychological disorders come in a prescription you take to your local pharmacy.

My suggestion, NEVER let your prescription run low, Op!!

How many churches have you actually been in that teach 'watered down grace'? You seem to be painting the picture with a broad brush.

Years ago I was at a large church meeting and opened up, livid with my own serious concerns about our faith walk, and used about the same exact words as Rightlydivided, and extra verbs. Back in the 90s we didn't have electronic social media, it was live, face to face, but there was a positive end result, that to me is very close to this discussion.

Some in that meeting understood my "opening up" and others did not agree with my disposition. This thread/post is very close to that meeting;

While I was opening up, some in that discussion pointed to Jesus and others quoted scriptures. Though the scriptures fell short with me (I confessed that later), others still kept it Christ centered. This was important.

In this discussion at CC, we are still one body in Christ. But God understands we're also men and women who may not always use Christianese and be quick to quote scriptures, but the Lord knows we speak when we see something that needs to be brought out in the church.

It is what it is, and it may not be to everyone's tone, but its still equally important that some of the posts here pointed to Jesus and others quoted scriptures, keeping Him in the center.

I feel this topic was good to get out in the open, because many of us have been there. The bigger picture was those who wrote in this post gives us some new insight in our faith walk with Jesus, with each other here, our families and church community.

This is what is going on in many churches, all over the country! I’ve watched relationships and families fall apart over works/repentance/fruit/judgement/gossip/treating brothers and sisters as non believers based on a shallow view.....it is why many people are getting the wrong message and not the FINISHED work of the cross

Yes, I get excited, but it’s not for myself....The finished work of the cross IS being worked out through those that are “emptying their cup” enough to receive it, Churches all over are preaching “watered down grace”.

Some of us learn the hard way. Not everyone that says Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of God. bv. Then Jesus said, "Depart from me for I never knew you. "
To be a part of the Father, to know him, to be like him, is to have his character. The fruits of the HOly Spirit. Any one could yell at the top of their heads, most of the time, it's the flesh, in action. Satan comes as an angel of light. You shall know them by their fruits. These are bible verses.

ok. This is or could be happening in many churches, but the bible said, don't be blown away with every decietful doctrine. You sound angry maybe you were another sheep hurt?

Amen - we are secure the moment we believe on Christ Jesus and His finished Completed work.

Can we pray that people hear The Gospel of Jesus Christ, believe it, are saved, sealed, secured and delivered.

Can we pray that people who are seeking, and also people who say they are a Christian to know for themselves the Truth, having been taught by The Holy Spirit Himself, and not by third, fourth, or fifth hand. It is good to read The Bible for ourselves, and not just get ‘fed’ by teachers, it’s up to me to make sure what I’m being ‘fed’ is pure milk ‘n meat and not had something weird mixed in the teaching. Cos it matters.

Yet can we pray for the Pastors, preachers and teachers who have a hard enough job as it is, especially in the modern times of live-streams, since everyone has a camera and a mic these days.
Can we please pray for Pastors ‘n Preachers to endure like good soldiers, persevere and not grow weary in doing well, in the Truth of the Gospel Light and sound teaching.

If we are members of the same Body, Jesus, then if one is bent out of shape doesn’t it affect us too? I’ve witnessed an awful year. I got sick. Then had a vision of Jesus, being bent out of shape... yet as being us, His members... it was awful but helped me understand His body and others. It was upsetting. Made me realise how I treat others matters, and what I say matters. Also what I’m hearing from others matters too.

If The Body of Christ Jesus Is under attack then do I need to step up my prayer life, and pray sincerely for myself & others to remain in The Faith, in Truth in His Spirit. Even if we are being led as sheep to the slaughter, if we look to the author of our Faith, Jesus, we will be more than conquerors through Him who won the battle for us, it’s won already, Ive just gotta look to Jesus first, before peeps. Then will Jesus show me who is teaching the right thing?

I honestly thought you might have spent a lot of time on YouTube after I read the OP, I had to read it a couple of times because I take it in what people say and get affected. My stomach is in knots. Now I’m wondering whether I should leave the tables where they’ve been thrown or tidy up. I can understand the outburst, righteous anger and sheer frustration, even upset, sounds like God when He spoke through Jeremiah, when He was so upset first Love, don’t leave or neglect my first love.

Amen Deror!! Thank you for your words !! We look around, in our churches, our families, and we have become immune and desensitized to the LOVE that the Holy Spirit has been offering, I have prayed over this for awhile now, I’ve never been much for feelings, I have always been a little rough around the edges, and without empathy, Jesus Christ changed that in me with his Grace...I came to Christ with nothing but Faith, he has been working in me since the moment I believed, .Thank God a few of my brothers and sisters can read between the lines, thank God I ignored condemnation from others that didn’t believe I was walking in the faith, I held on, I gave my problems over to him, I let him work a change in me, I KNEW! It was impossible myself, it was only GRACE that saved me.

I believed in him, I continued in sin, not understanding what was happening, but I felt him with me, over time he convicted me to let go! It was only when I stopped believing what everyone was telling me, when I STOPPED going to the wrong church, when I stopped listening to those that tried to push me with human wisdom, puffed up in there OWN abilities to save a man, and forgetting it is LOVE, patience, and FAITH alone....It is allowing God the TIME to work his increase in ME, whom has been the WORST of many I have ever known..

.I should not be where I am, I finally know what it means to put my arms around my kids and actually WANT to love them and WANT their love in return! I can put my arms around my wife after 20 YEARS of a TYRANT!!and call her baby!! And actually MEAN IT!!After everyone called her CRAZY!!!for trying!!!EVEN her Church members, to think, MY WIFES CHURCH almost seduced her into giving UP!! When she looks back, she was scared at the level of judgement being thrown around...Again and again

It is unheard of what God has been working in me! And all that needed to happen was GRACE!! GRACE!! GRACE!! I KNOW the multitudes of men JUST like me, that are out there, with seemingly NO chance to get covered in the blood of Christ because SO many churches are FULL of wolves in SHEEPS clothing....My brothers, if your struggling, and you cannot find REST among men who put their own words ahead of the Holy Spirit that GOD has given you....RUN the other way and let GOD do his work he PROMISED you....DO NOT give up, DO NOT get discouraged of MEN, they are NOTHING unless YOU can see the Holy Spirt being represented in them with LOVE!! Anything less, HE IS NOT YOUR BROTHER!!!

The only scripture that makes ANY sense to the LOST is LOVE AND GRACE!! and the biblical definition should RING LOUD in their conduct, if they cannot get LOVE right, I promise you this brothers, they have no right to even speak to you!!Thank you Jesus!!for saving a wretch like ME!!
