Before I can say anything I have a question.. what is gender fluid.. Ive heard a lot but not that yet
It means depending on the day or how the person feels they can choose to be a male or female depending on what they choose for that day no matter how they were biologically born.....it's a bit crazy imo anyway and a form of double mindedness imo....

There is nothing wrong with dressing as the opposite gender ... clothes are man- made ideas after all.

This is absolutely not true. It is a sin.
[h=2][/h]"A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this"
Deut 22:5

Instead of trying to make Jesus fit your beliefs, you should learn what Jesus wants from us.
Christianity isnt about feeling good and having a religious identity, its about finding God, and placing your faith into the God of Abraham, with the belief that Jesus Christ was the One spoken of by the prophets of Israel, and the one who was pierced for our sins, as was written in Isaiah 53:5.

The OT also says
Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.

Will you speak up against those doing that as fiercely?

Does that verse suddenly make Deut 22:5 untrue?

But if you will only listen to the NT-

6 "But ‘God made them male and female’ from the beginning of creation. 7 ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, 8 and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, 9 let no one split apart what God has joined together.”
Mark 10:6-9

God made us male and female. We can intellectualize rebellion and say that gender is just a man made concept, but it doesnt turn wrong into right.

Maybe WWJD needs to clarify what she means. Because there's a huge difference between wearing men's shirts (women) or skinny jeans (men) and cross-dressing. I mean, I dressed up as Cleopatra for a murder mystery night (not enough women could make it). But I normally have no desire to dress up as a woman.

I said "dressing as" meaning wearing stereotypical male / female clothes yes.

I wear dresses about once a year, other days I wear t- shirts and jeans, does that make me a sinner?

I am tired of Christians putting other people down for their sin by picking bible verses about them and ignoring all the surrounding bible verses which we all see to think are outdated (who decides if verse 2-5 applies and v 6 doesnt in a chapter?

There's nothing wrong with you wearing dresses and T-shirts and jeans. None at all. But a guy regularly wearing a dress is another thing altogether. As for Bible verses, we read them in light of the New Covenant and within the context they're written. For example, the Mosaic laws (I'm not talking about the 10 Commandments) were ceremonial, cultural and moral and the only ones that apply today in the physical sense are the moral laws given by God. The others were for a certain people (Israel) at a certain point in history. And they were there to show them that they couldn't humanly keep any of the 613 laws. Hence, their need (and ours) for a Messiah.

Theres a difference between a woman wearing pants that were designed for woman, and someone who purposefully wears the clothing of the opposite gender. That is not an equal argument.

God did not remove the laws, we are told the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God. I would rather this person find the Lord and follow Him, over letting them believe that Christians can be accepting of all lifestyles.

It is not a sin to be tempted, but it is a sin to ignore God's words and warnings and twist the Word of God to fit your beliefs and lifestyle choices.

3 Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ 5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ 6 they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 “‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
9 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’”

10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand.11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
15 Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.”
16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

A person should not think they are a certain gender by the way they feel, but you are what you are,and if you have the male body parts you are male, and female body parts you are female. If you are a mellow man you are still a man,and if an aggressive female still a female, they should not go by the way they feel, but you are what you are.

I wear men's t-shirts and sweatpants all the time. Purely for comfort reasons though. Not because I'm trying to look like a man.. lol .. As any woman knows, women's clothes are uncomfortable. lol.. Especially if you have chronic back pain, like I do..

We are talking about the Word of God, not what is sociablly acceptable. I do not have an answer for you with this question, but it does nto have any bearing on the Word of God.

Again, who decides what applies and what does not? Jesus never said "these laws apply and these don't, so who gave you your list of which laws are still in use and which may be ignored?

I never said it was okay for someone to wear the clothing of their spouse? My argument was that wearing the clothing of the opposite gender is a sin.

Does your clothes match the clothes described in Numbers?

37The Lord said to Moses, 38“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. 39You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. 40Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God. 41I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

So, because of this verse, there is no law on what we can and cant wear?

Am glad that law is finally done with. Maybe now we can start having physical relations with whoever we want to as well.

Its great that we can quote parts of the bible to do away with other parts we dont like, isnt it?
