As a child, I was not big on Nat King Cold. I am listening to him, his hits, on YouTube right now, and I cannot believe how beautiful his voice is, and just what a great talent this man is, was. I pray my yourth be forgiven me in not having been appreciative os such a wonderful voice and talent. I recall seeing him in a short as afiller between movies when I saw War of The Worlds at the Riviera movie house in Long Beach, California. Maybe I associated him with the film, but he kind of scred me. I see him now as just beautiful..........it's the voice.......... Praise God for growing............

Don't ask me, I would give the max because the sysstem that worked until the 70's has fallen apart. People need all the help they can get, especially when they are willing to do their own part. Now that is my serious consideration, if the question is intended otherwise forgive my sober minded thin king.

The signs of the demise of the system began to show strongly in the late 70's with the onset of the "bag lady." This was a polite reference to the homeless or nearly homeless. I know of adults renting a studio in Chcago, four sleeping in on ebed. There were alrealdy people camping, living and existing on Lower Waker Drive in Chicago..that would be living without a proper housing facility. This is when the unemployment began to be indemic in the US. With reagan, the unemployed began to be counted more creatively by the government, with the military being counted for the first time as employed, and the unemplyed otherwise were only those who still had unemployment benefits. If and when those whose benefits had runout di so, they were no longer counted. Now, this is all very ironic, since Reagan coined the phrase Voodoo Econimics in refernce to the loyal opposition.........the books have been being cooked ever since that desgaceful time.

The government , with the tas payers' contribution, should always attempt to assure health, education and welfare)which should include housing), for all of its citizens. I believe this because I believe as people who are supposed to believe the Word, we should give without asking to whom if possible when asked. The system worked quite well until that birth of Reaganomics, so, what happene? Have people stopped paying taxes? Why has education become so expensive, health care, and housing? I do recall after the book cooking became the norm bigtime there was the notion put out the greed is good, later ammended to greed is healthy. Satanic? You tell me.

There should be no minimum wage. The free market system is the best. Get the government out of everything. let the market decide these things.

The free market system is what causes heads of households to need to work two jobs for less than the pay of one.
It allows for the unscrupulous to foment and maintaina poverty class.
Before health, eduacation and welfare began to be privatized all of those categories were affordable by most working class people. Some of the working calse, the majority, was middle class on the income scale.
There was no such thing as the working poor. Privatization, and unbridled captalism has led to the widening gap between thevery wealthy and the rest of society. This is not a pitch for Marxist-Leninist attitudes, it is just a reminder of how things were well done and well run previous to the fall of the USSR. The fall of the Berlin Wall was the fall of egalitarian government around the globe. Check the differences.

They both seem like they could be a bit of curse.

I suppose I would do less damage (hopefully) with the photographic memory one...

I understand implicitely, since I have experienced this very same understanding back in the day. Funny, now that I am half-way retired, except for working around the schedule of others at times, it no longer strikes me as so. Go figure. Of course you will all discover this one day if the Lord has not already returned for us, amen.

We have four seasons...Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
I know GOD is sovereign and knows all things but was it his desire for us to have winter?

I was wondering because he made everything perfect for Adam and Eve in the garden, but mankind fell and everything under man fell also.

Before Adam and Eve disobeyed our Father, there was a mist that came up to water the garden. After, there was no mist. I suppose seasons came along with the earning of our keep by the sweat of the brow. Come the Kingdom there will be no over powering weather as far as I have been understanding. Now, this may sound incredible, but I have been wrong before.
