I hate it when other members of CC cry "it does not pertain to salvation - therefore, it is not 'against' the Gospel - so, don't judge anyone over it - because, it is not an issue even worth debating" all the time -- and then, react toward you in the most extreme ways when they suddenly realize that you believe something "significantly" differently than them ( but, that is not a salvation issue ).

The other "opposite" crowd is the one that says "it does not pertain to salvation - therefore, you should not bother to give it any of your time or consideration"...

Really? What do cars, guns, and video games have to do with salvation?

( I am not saying that I have anything against talking about cars, guns, or video games. )

Maybe it is the latter crowd that does most of the reacting...?

I don't know --- all I know for sure is that there is a whole lot of "unnecessary" reacting going on...
I don't know if this is what you are saying, but
I was thinking earlier today
How many of us (all of us?) will much more rapidly, easily, harshly judge people for those things which we know we ourselves would never do. (So a straight person may say that being gay is the worst sin, and a gay. shy person may say pride is the worst sin, a poor many may say greed is the worst sin, while the businessman man says laziness is the worst sin etc etc)

If I understand correctly what you are saying here, then I can whole-heartedly agree -- unless it is an occasion like some I have seen where someone posts a deadly-serious "Jesus-juke" type of statement in a thread that is 100% entirely completely absolutely understood to be strictly-for-fun - while right-in-the-middle of an on-going real-time multi-person 'conversation' in the thread that just happens to be hilarious!

( In a case like that, I kind-of don't blame anyone for responding with a sarcastic tone - which may seem to contradict the "good message" that the Jesus-juker wanted to get across... )

Disclaimer: I am not pointing any fingers at seed_time_harvest by saying this.

Rather, ...

"Just sayin'..."

I hate it when those waltz right in with a "form of godliness", & blind christians welcome them with open arms.
"Oh, no - that never happens on CC -- right?"

Can't sleep when you are sleepy? Are you sure you aren't confusing 'sleepy' with 'tired'...? :p i.e. - tired and hungry, but cannot sleep

I hate it when you buy a bag of frozen chicken nuggets because theyre cheaper than mcdonalds but when you try them they dont taste half as good :( (this is happening as I type!)
After learning about how McDonalds chicken nuggets are made, I pretty-much don't want to eat anything that is "reformed" ( separated and then pressed back together ) ever again...

I hate It when I forget to look at the age of a thread to see If I'm about to resurrect an old old thread.
"Yeah - so does everybody else..."

I am just kidding. Some of us on here do not believe that it is [ necessarily ] a crime to "resurrect" an old topic or 'conversation'. Sometimes it definitely turns out to be worthwhile...

( And, apparently, this in in alignment with the beliefs of the site owner. Otherwise, threads would get locked after a predetermined set amount of time...? )

Not sure where the BDF is, but it sounds painful.

I think they do it just to "stir the pot" so to speak...

I don't go near those threads... I stick with "speak your mind". Lots of fun people there.

There are only three things in this world I hate.

1. Cold coffee

2. Wet toilet paper

3. You

I hate bandwagon NBA fans

I hate people who are so biased that they don't accept any opinion or truth other than their own, even if they are wrong

I hate the "wrestling is fake, therefore it is trash" crowd

I hate the "that style of music can't possibly be Christian, it is not slow and calm"

I hate the Red Sox, Cowboys, Eagles and Knicks

I hate the you're young therefore your opinion don't matter" type of mentality. You know who you people are

Pretty much everyone here: I hate it when Sonia (yours truly) walks into my very serious, depressing thread about life struggles and hopelessness and takes a big memey dump on it!

...How accurate was I?
