I believe you are either the greatest generation or silent generation
I have always looked at my father as the greatest generation (18-25) during WW2. Seems to me that they sired the boomer generation. I guess in reality, the lines for the beginning and ending are fuzzy.

Some reckonings are slightly different, but this gives a general idea of generations.

Add 5 yrs to youngest and oldest of each generation. I think this chart is 5 years old.

Yes, despite many Gen X famous people, Gen X-ers are usually cool and chill.
We basically were born on vacation and we're still on vacation.

This is one of the few references to Gen x on TV and I think they nailed it.

Rocket ship delivery? .:unsure::LOL::devilish::giggle:
lol Hey anything is possible but look at how these trends get started.
20 years ago the idea of shopping on the internet was unimaginable. Now it's standard with Amazon.
Elon is basically starting a trend with self-driving cars which in 20 years will be standard practice with big trucks delivering accross state lines.
That's how these things get started. With one little thing.
And then the old generations will say "Back in my day ... we used to eat dirt. Kids nowadays don't appreciate anything". :D

Im holding on to librarian because God made the original library of books which is the Bible. Though the whole point of a library is to spread the Word so hopefully in the future everyone will have the Bible in their own homes and be literate and write their own books about Jesus as the world cannot contain them.

We (Gen X) are taking care of both sides now, the old and the young. That’s just how things go … until we get old too.
I personally consider myself old and the youngsters call everyone a boomer so that‘s how I call myself at work when I deal with 20 year old kids who look like they’ve never left the house before.
I know what you mean. One of the kids that I'm training in industry told me the other day, 'Ive never sweated so much that it was running down my face like this!'

She's right out of high school.

One of the machines I run is so old school and complicated me and two other people are the only ones that can actually set it up and run. Too many cams and gears I guess. I was talking to an ISO guy the other day and I was like, yes, I set this machine up and yes I am the operator. The other two guys that can run it are a little younger than me. I think they would be right at the beginning of the millennials born in the early 80s.

One of them smokes and vapes. Kinda funny in way if it wasn't so bad for him. Come to think of it. He was born in the late 70s. I think the other one was born in early 80s.

And I'm no genius. I was just raised around machines and I get how they work. I 've been trying to help my nephews get started on their tool collections and i try to let them work on stuff (with my guidance) to try and let them see how mechanics work.

Sorry Lanolin, with the invention of the Internet people can now find info or garbage faster than ever before.
A library will be a thing of the past ... like a thing in a museum. I wonder if museums will be needed too?
