Baby Boomers

We (Gen X) are taking care of both sides now, the old and the young. That’s just how things go … until we get old too.
I personally consider myself old and the youngsters call everyone a boomer so that‘s how I call myself at work when I deal with 20 year old kids who look like they’ve never left the house before.

I love Gen- Xers. And even married one. I’m a barely baby boomer.

Genxers are laid back, and fun, but tbh they don’t have NEAR the impact on society as the boomers did/do, and the millennials will.

Unless Desantis, or some yet unknown genxer gets in next time, they may have an entire generation with no US President.

Bush Jr - Boomer
Obama - Boomer
Trump - Boomer
Biden - Greatest generation ( yes, he’s that old!)

The President after that, may be a Gen Z!

Even most of the iconic gen x movies are acted by mostly Boomers! Like Breafast Club and Ferris Buellers day off.

But you have done a great job refereeing the battles between Boomers and Millennials!

There is still a few iconic genx actors like Brad Pitt. Johnny Depp.

Hate to break it to you brother, but BOTH Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp are Boomers!!

Boomer generation is from 1946 - 1964
Pitt was born the same year as me, 1963. Depots a year older.

we invented the term/phrase 'Whatever'

He’s kind of a tweener. I think he was born in 64.

What do you call those of us who were born between 1940 and 1946. Most of us grew up as Boomers. We were the oldest of large families.

I must be a gen X then. When people start drama I just sit back with a bowl of cheetos and watch the show.

BTW. Two of those female friends are Boomers.
