The Tribulation: Part I - Refinement, Not Removal

Agreed about the great tribulation and the pre-trib gathering of the church. I believe that once people on earth realize it, there will be a "sensible" answer. Maybe AI? Maybe there will be a vaccine available to keep people from disappearing.:p

The Tribulation: Part I - Refinement, Not Removal

I'm hearing what you are saying, but is there evidence of these statements in scripture?

The Tribulation: Part I - Refinement, Not Removal

First, equating what Jesus states in Matthew 24 and 25 concerning Israel to what Paul refers to as the gathering of the church. They are not the same. The elect in Matthew 24 is Israel, not the body of Christ.

The Tribulation: Part I - Refinement, Not Removal

Another thread of failing to rightly divide the word of truth and separating the Church from the nation of Israel.

    Alcohol Damages Health

Were the Corinthians in which Paul called carnal, were they saved?

Because the carnal mind says, "I can handle it."

    Alcohol Damages Health

Turning water into wine is a picture of the OT example of Moses turning water into blood. The picture is sin. It goes back to the fall of man in the garden, but that's a long discussion (the blood of the grape).

Better off without alcohol? Always, because man is evil. Man will always abuse it.

    Alcohol Damages Health

    Marriage question

I am reminded of the feast of Jacob’s desire to marry Rachael after serving seven years, but instead lay with Leah that night and was married to her, not Rachael.

    Marriage question

Biblically, in the eyes of God, you are married once two become one flesh. There's nothing magically occurs when you say vows in front of a pastor. You should make your declaration of marriage known before others if you are seeking to appease family and church.

Salvation as a Journey Rooted in True Belief

Yet another thread failing to rightly divide the word of truth. When will it stop. :)

Should the church preach the gospel?

My post showed how the Lord gave Paul additional revelation that had never been taught before. It's not a contradiction, just more revelation to a particular group of people. It's called progressive revelation.

Should the church preach the gospel?

The church should preach the gospel to the congregation? Is not the congregation the church, the body of Christ?
