I summit to His Lordship because I am already eternally saved, not to secure it.

This duality may have some merit now that you are a believer, but this duality was not how you began - your initial belief in the Lord was your first act of commanded submission to Him - the Lord - the Christ/King.

How can you add something to a finished, completed work? You can't and nobody is trying to. It's just something your hiding behind so you can keep your life.

You've been warned, you know the truth now. So you will be held accountable for your decision . You and your household.
And you will be held accountable for your false teaching.
Jesus and Paul warned us about people like you and many others.
Those of us who know the truth can see who and what you are and represent.

There is that addition to the gospel "and a life inspired by such surrender".

Leave your life out of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is wrong with you?

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Romans 5:11
And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have
now received the reconciliation.

Put your trust in Jesus and call on the name of Jesus and forget about your obedience.

If you have the Holy Spirit then works in the Spirit will follow, but that is the Spirit working through you.

It's not about us!

Obedience is an inevitable accompaniment of a continually surrendered life.

This sounds like, "agree with me or you're headed for damnation "

How can you say your life is surrendered to God when you do not even attend a local church.
What's wrong? No one will accept you and your false teaching?

Obedience is a completely different word in the Greek and is not part of this discussion.
You included your obedience into the dicussion.

Here what you said.

I call out aloud as I can, true saving faith (pisteuo) is a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender.

That is your version of the gospel and you included your obedience, of course.

See how your version of the gospel is a two part gospel; Jesus and my obedience are entwined together for salvation.

2 Corinthians 3:3-6
Being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the
living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence we have through Christ
toward God. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our
adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit;
for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

No, thats the version of the gospel your attempting to stamp on me. Which isn't true.

I've said repeatedly, faith, pistis, faithing, pisteuo, is a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender, as defined in the Greek dictionary. And is our "response " to the gospel, not an addition to it.

You have no response to the gospel in your understanding.

Hi vessel, I'm kind of excited about your understanding.
Could you give me a little background how you came to it?
hello watchmann, I will reply back to you certainly tomorrow, i need to rest a bit now it was a long and difficult day for me at home.

Blessings.

How does this work in your understanding?

In Gods ways thoughts are the same as the deeds.

Does that mean if you even think of doing something Christian, your violating your mental ascent only understanding. And that would be works salvation?

Hey glad to hear from you Cassel.

Sounds good, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Vassal has the gospel of the sabbath.
false the gospel I preach is the same as Jesus did repentance from sin and the coming Kingdom of Heaven and How to enter it as Jesus explained,in HIS words. if you tell me that is wrong than too bad for you. I hear Jesus voice and no one elses and will follow no one else.

Creating a distinction between believing as God commanded and obeying what He commanded is a false duality. If the Gospel arrives as a royal command to believe (1John3:23), then your very first breath of faith was an act of obedience. You cannot logically believe in a Lord while simultaneously treating His authority as a separate, optional second step. To accept the Christ is to accept the King. Therefore, faith-obedience is not a dual reality - it is a single, indivisible response to the One who has all authority. We obey when we believe and we believe when we obey - this is how genuine faith in God works from start to finish.

what I wrote in the O.P was always obvious to me, belief requires action and not simply a passive way of life, Jesus was clear about this in many of his sayings, I soon realized coming to this forum that many did rely only on verses like;
John 6:47 (ASV)
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth hath eternal life.” and did not have the full spectrum of Christ teachings, many repy on a few simple verses and forget or worse reject the rest of what Jesus clearly taught.

For many they think that a simple belief in Jesus without doing as he asked from us is enough and it is clearly not.

I do not know if the bible I read makes a difference of not, it is in french , an excellent version close to the original texts. but I understood all this early on.

Most importantly through the Holy Spirit that was sent to those who believe Jesus and do the will of God, this becomes clear. the more I read Holy scripture the more I grow in knowledge, and gifts. I do not pretend to understand all, far from it but what was given to me I share with others freely, what I do not know or am not certain I will not speak of or will say clearly that i speculate.

I have identified as well many other aspects of scripture that many are confused about and I intend to write new posts to clarify soon.

But this task is not easy, many refuse the words of Jesus and they fight against them constantly, I think you saw that many refuse obedience, they see it as a taboo, however is is essential, Eve disobeyed a simple command from GOD and we all still pay the price today, What God asks us to do if for our own good. God made us in His Image and he said clearly Be Holy as I am Holy.

Blessings.

yes i agree with it, a surrender is the result of belief ,
i did look this up some time ago and from my notes;
The Greek word pisteuō does not mean just “to think something is true.”
It means:

  • to trust
  • to rely on
  • to place yourself in someone’s hands
