Have i misunderstood your support for what Vassel has been saying?

Thats all I'm attempting to do is support Him.
I dont support vassals views, or should I say most of what he continually states on this website

That's what the message is (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) is saying, the good news.

Our salvation is a free gift never earned by some extended version of "faith" or "trust" or "belief".

1 Corinthians 2:2
For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.

That's it in a nut shell and nothing more or less for salvation.

Your an adult, make your own decisions, just do nothing then. But your household may bear the consequences with you.

There is your testimony "just do nothing".

I told you that you would insert "me" and works into the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It's all about "me" and "my" Christian life.

Your on the winning side of the great controversy.

Problem is that there was never a great controversy.

1 Corinthians 1:23
But we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness.

What do you preach?

The sabbath?

Well as you've read the greek, Im sure you know how Paul described the Ten Commandments. I don't think we are expected to accept teaching that overrides what the person who wrote half the books of the NT stated

I call out aloud as I can, true saving faith (pisteuo) is a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender. Thats all that a called out one needs to respond with.

Then all these walls between us just fall away.

My understanding of the law is good and in line with Paul. Thats not the problem here.

An evangelist, who saw tremendous medically verified healings in their services once said, and I quote:

''Anyone can see the power in their services I have seen in mine, but it costs everything''

Or we could say, it costs total surrender

I try to stay in my lane, faith, faithing, the spirit of Christ, and how it works. Mostly at the beginning of the salvation process. The call of the Father.

Yes, I translated it a couple of months ago.
Why?
Well in my bible it says the ten commandments are the letter that kills, the ministry of death and condemnation, according to the greek, would you say that is a mistranslation?

There is that addition to the gospel "and a life inspired by such surrender".

Leave your life out of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is wrong with you?

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Romans 5:11
And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have
now received the reconciliation.

Put your trust in Jesus and call on the name of Jesus and forget about your obedience.

If you have the Holy Spirit then works in the Spirit will follow, but that is the Spirit working through you.

It's not about us!

No . Without looking at context .

I just don't understand what this has to do with our topic of misunderstanding the word believe.

How can you add something to a finished, completed work? You can't and nobody is trying to. It's just something your hiding behind so you can keep your life.

You've been warned, you know the truth now. So you will be held accountable for your decision . You and your household.

Obedience is a completely different word in the Greek and is not part of this discussion.
