And yet that's what the so called once saved always saved people seek to do is continue living in sin as they claim to still be saved.

There's lots of lawlessness going around in the end times so this is not surprising at all.

When saved, is always and forever saved.
Then End!
The gift of eternal life is eternal. God says so.

I just wonder what Jesus saved/delivered you from? ... seems like, very little, since you must live on high alert all day everyday thinking that salvation may fallout of you at any moment.

I also kinda wonder if you are a sock account for Dallas Man.

The people i know that believe in osas are secure in their faith and therefore confident to express it..and so faithful believers.

A securely attached child is confident to explore. An eternally secure believer is confident to share.

I am thinking only the spiritually regenerated person can have that inward knowledge/understanding of saved is saved.
God does not save those who are still trying to save themselves.

In John 3:16-21, it connects our belief in the Son with our obedience to the Law of God. In Romans 10:5-10, Paul referred to Deuteronomy 30 as the word of faith that we proclaim in regard to the righteousness that is by faith proclaiming that the Law of God is not too difficult for us to obey, that obedience to it brings life and a blessing, in regard to what we are committing to obey by confessing that Jesus is Lord, and in regard to the way to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead for salvation.

The content of a gift can be the experience of doing something such as giving someone the opportunity to experience driving a Ferrari, where the gift intrinsically requires them to do the work of driving it in order to have that experience, but where doing that work contributes nothing towards earning the opportunity to experience driving it as the result. We can't earn our righteousness, salvation, or eternal life even as the result of having perfect obedience to the Law of God because either was never given as a way to do that in the first place (Romans 4:1-5), but rather it was graciously given in order teach us what is intrinsically required in order to experience to gift of those things. Our gift of salvation from sin would be incomplete if we were only saved from the penalty of our sin would our lives continued to be directed as being doers of sin, so there is an aspect of our gift of salvation that we are experiencing in the present by repenting and redirecting our lives towards being doers of the Law of God. In Titus 2:11-13, the content of our gift of salvation is described as being trained by grace to do what is godly, righteous, and good, and to renounce doing what is ungodly, so doing those works in obedience to the Law of God has nothing to do with trying to earn our salvation as the result, but rather God graciously teaching us to be doers of those works is the aspect of His gift of salvation that we are experiencing in the present.

Repentance is not about perfection but about redirection. There is a difference between a sinner whose life is directed at being a doer of sin and someone who has repented and redirected their life towards being like Christ, who many not perfectly follow Christ, but who repents of their sin when they do not. In 1 John 2:6, those who are in Christ are obligated to walk in the same way that he walked, so verses like Romans 8:1 that speak about those who are in Christ are only referring to those who are following his example of walking in obedience to the Law of God, which again is not speaking about perfectly following Jesus, but about direction.

Thank you, great insight given you from Father to you
We agree and then do as led by Father in the same one and mercy given us first. willingly I see is key to freely doit g waht is right over trying to do what is right in the first born flesh nature

Yeah their "confidence" in false doctrine certainly leads them to explore sin alright, and encourage others to explore sin as they share their false doctrine and cause others to become deceived just like they are.

From what I understand about Gnostic's is:

Gnostics claim to have special revelation so it includes much more than the original gnostics that did not believe Jesus came in the flesh.

There are many gnostics among us today who believe they have "special revelation" as they ignore what God says in His Word such as the catholics and those that teach the heretical "security in sin" fake gospel who go around proudly claiming they are sinners

Any person, is either of the first birth flesh or learning in the new life given them in Father's Spirit and Truth. Believe, receive from Father and be new in love to all, not just those that agree with you. God loves us all, otherwise that cross would not have ever happened
Proof is in the resurrected Son Jesus For us all. He willingly went to that cross to first die and take away Sin, Jesus reconciled us all as forgiven from Father through his done work for us all. John 19:30, Done! Thank you Father and Son as Won (One). There is no forgiveness without the shedding of Blood, Christ's was/is the final sacrifice, back at the cross, all are reconciled 2 Cor 5:17-22 presently daily.
No more Atoning for sin, no more yearly sacrifice, as was set up in the Old First Testament. God Father through Son took care of sin once for us all. to give new life in his resurrected Son for us all. Believe, recieve and see new through risen Son for you too, thank you.

John1:29, Hebrews 10:10 1 John 2:1-27. We are completed by God through Son, once anyone believes he is risen for them for Father to teach them from mistakes made, not sin anymore, since Son took all sin out of the way first at that cross in his willing one time death for us all. John 1:29, John 19:30 Father and Son are One yet two as like a marriage of man and woman are reckoned as One, the mystery revealed, Won for us, to be new in with them too by continued belief no more doubts in the way as is promoted by people in general, usually through religions.

you need to know attitudes for flesh nature want control over other people. Not well for my Soul. Time to seek out a personal relationship between Father you and risen Son, you think?
I know and am freed since listening to God personally, hearing truth from Daddy over many errors in this world still.
Father in Spirit and Truth is ready to give new life to the next person sincere about Love and mercy given them by Son's death, burial and especially risen. These standing believer's give back to all in the same love and mercy first given by Son for us all.
John 13:34. not a few anymore as flesh nature only knows how to do. So ask Father for the new life as born again, new through risen Son too, thank you and see willingly to love all and forgive all, to stand Col 1:21 it is done from God to you to see truthfully you are forgiven and now get to do new in continued trust to Father and Son Col 1:21-22
No other flesh can do waht is done by Son form us all to be born new from Father diving this to s, once anyone sincerely believes and ?Father knows who is who and what is the motive behind whatever any one does

If I ask you to quote or post scriptures when you make a statement about something you believe, but I never do the same, how am I any different from you? I read some posts here and we then quote that post. Yet some then say something about that post the person never said never hinted at. How is that not lying? What is a white lie? Is it"well I believe its what they are thinking I believe its what they really meant to say so.. its true and no I never lied."

They don't toss out personal belief and show you scripture. They do not tell you "this is what I believe and why". Soooo much speculation as if that is truth. Some are just talking no scripture and.. yeah has no weight. "You need to believe Yeshua/Jesus for ever lasting life" Read John 3:16-17 Read Rom 10:9-10. Something like this.

In all this its not GOD telling us.. tell me its someone I never heard of (just like me) don't know anything about. Back two thousand years ago they would say to us "who are you? Who knows you? How long have you walked in what you teach/preach?" then all of us would go pray. That right there.. same people that wrote NT yet we will toss this part out.. how cares. I know what I am saying is right and you don't know me but.. I have to share with you the real truth I have.. you don't pffft.

I miss hearing "don't believe me don't believe a word I say.. you go study you search you pray you find this truth for your self" oh we won't say that.. we have to be in control right? We can't trust the sweet sweet holy Spirit to show you to teach you... no no you need .. say it..."me" to show you to teach you. Tad strong but you get the point.

If you think some out there are wrong missing it and could end up lost.. your really praying for them right? Well you love them as Christ loves you never gives up on you. We don't. Love them.. help them. Tell them.. well I think your wrong and hears why

Which is why they are "Gnostics"

Yep, you should seek out a personal relationship between Father you and risen Son.

The sooner the better!

No, I meant your protest against OSAS in that post was nothing about scripture itself, but looking at behaviour, which all believers have difficulty in faithfulness at some times.

No, I meant your protest against OSAS in that post was nothing about scripture itself

Scriptures teaches against the false doctrine of OSAS

Those believing in OSAS are scripture twisters are are the tares Jesus warned about.

They even go around proudly proclaiming they are "sinners" because they are pro sin believing it's OK to live in sinful behavior false claiming they are still saved as they have clearly fallen away from the Lord.

Okay, thank you I do this daily and stand in it daily Col 1:21-23, in trust you are too

This is dependent upon "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel"

Those that do not continue in the faith have fallen away from the Lord and are not longer in right standing with the Lord.

If they don't REPENT and turn away from their sin (Proverbs 28:13 and 1 John 1:9) and start walking in agreement with the Lord once again they will not be entering God's Kingdom when they croak.

Soon the false teachers will be along claiming they will go to Heaven anyway even as they continue living in sin.

You know, the pro sin caucus!

I agree with you, but I also know some OSAS believers that genuinely love God and are obedient to Him. So obedient, that their salvation was never in jeopardy. So they think one can never lose their salvation. They just never tested God on that. I don't think Lord Jesus will send them to hell.

🤔

some OSAS believers that genuinely love God and are obedient to Him.

But they are DISOBEDIENT to the Lord by going around spreading the false claim that "it's not possible for a person to lose their salvation after getting born again"

Many people are struggling with sin when they get saved and the devil tries to keep them in their sin and then these babes in Christ hear the false claims of the OSAS people along with their scripture twisting and these babes in Christ start stmbling thinking they can continue living in sin and still be saved just like the OSAS people claim and they fall away from the Lord

So, the OSAS people are actually teaching heresy which is listed as on of the works of the flesh that causes people engaged in such to not inherit God's Kingdom (see Galatians 5:19-21 and 1 Corinthians 6:9,10)

Sure, I've met people to that believe OSAS that "seem" to be living for the Lord and not in sinful behavior but they also spread heretical doctrine so I cannot bid them godspeed or break bread with them due the darkness that subscribe to, live in, and spread to others causing them to stumble.

whoever sincerely hates sin going on inn them will see to leave it behind them, thanking God in risen Son for them. Evil cannot do anything about that.
So, evil gets these that quit and stand in belief to God over Son for them, receive thought(s) of evil in their old mindset and do not realize it, end up believing it and go after others they think are not right, thinking they are doing God a favor. therefore become condemning as if are better, these people become as an Example in Luke 18:9-14. a better better than others, not good for anyone's soul, not mine anyways.

God knows everyone personally. Knows those that are sincere and those that are not whoever takes for granted this grace given them through risen Son for them or not. As well as their future belief to enter and learn new from Father and Son one day. In belief these will make one day. Now that can only happen in truth by Love and mercy given us all, to continue to give all. overcome evil with good. See John 13:34 thank you.

Love all is the call see Matthew about feed evil love, Evil can not do anything about love, but evil tries to not let others see it as best as it can to reject it, through troubles mostly. Job 1, where have you been to satan? Seeking whomever I can devour, upset, get mad over anything to not believe you love anyone. My interpretation given me to see truth from God.

Those that are sincere grow up in grace unto maturity and learn truth and eat the meat of the truth given each from God, who loves all. As Paul did. in Jail, still rejoiced, praised God. Woe wow is me, I see the Jsail help come to God in belief too, seeing Paul still rejoice in prison. They said who still rejoices while in troubles. So they asked Paul, how is it you still rejoice and Paul told them, they saw and believed also. God works out everything to the good of all. We would not have the Letters written if Paul was not put in jail to write them and we all have them.
Romans 12:9
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
( that does not mean fight back in flesh) or have unkind words, in your judgment, not well for my Soul is it yours?)
Philippians 1:16
the one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
(if it does, then you are not in the Spirit and Truth given you to live above all circumstances)
Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
( can you, I, others live in contentment whether are rich or poor, in sickness or health?)
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
( To be content in all things, standing in trust to Father and Son no matter what happens here on earth first!) can we?
Jude 1:25
to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
( will you, me and all others learn that truth and be that truth, so Father and Son get all the credit not anyone else?)

love from Father and Son to all John 13:34

Again very little to do with scripture itself

Only to those who are cherry pickers who refuse to accept the whole counsel of God.

They only way people can embrace the OSAS heresy is to only accept bits and pieces of what the Lord teaches in His Word and consider the rest of the Bible to be lies.

OSAS is actually a cult. It's evident by how freaked out these people get when they are faced with scripture that reject.

Freaked out?

I'm not. It's all about the context of the passage. For example 'he who endureth to end will be saved '

The context around this..whatever it means.. isn't eternal salvation deliverance. The 'saved' here is in a different meaning to 'saved from hell, saved eternally '

The context around this..whatever it means..

So you do admit then you have no idea what Jesus meant when He said 'he who endureth to end will be saved'

Jesus is talking about salvation because when one reads the whole counsel of God we see that NOT abiding in Christ is how one is rejected and cast in to hell.

Some do not abide in Him their entire lives and fall away becoming deceived in to following doctrines of devils and as a result they who were once born again in the end are rejected and spend eternity being tormented in hell with satan and his demons:

*Warnings and Notices concerning the times we live in and the coming end of this age – PAY ATTENTION!

Matthew 24:4,5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

*Many includes those claiming "I am anointed to speak for God" that are deceiving many (false teachers)

1 Timothy 4:1,2
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

("depart from the faith" is not referring to sinners in the world who never came to faith in the first place)

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (see Luke 11:23 and 2 Peter 3:2)
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness (holiness); (Doctrine of Christ, aka Doctrine of the Apostles)
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil thoughts… Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (teaching); but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying (contradicting, Not agreeing with) the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness (idolatry) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

Jude 1:4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (no self control, living after the flesh), and denying (contradicting, opposing Jesus’ teachings) the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (referring to false teachers and false brethren - see Matthew 13:24-30)

Jude 1:17-21
Remember the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These are those who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

("those who separate themselves" is not referring to sinners in the world who were never joined unto the Lord in the first place)

Matthew 24:3-13
What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (including saying “I am anointed”); and shall deceive many.
And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation (ethnic group vs ethnic group), and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in many different places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (See 1 John 5:3 AND 2 John 1:6)
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Acts 20:27-30
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
