Where is this being preached according to your referenced definitions?
The if then proposition is also true "if not, then not." If the law has brought one to repentance for forgiveness and is transformed, and it is only by grace that there is room given for repentance and forgiveness (and this room, or place given, is Christ), then it is grace, indeed, that saves, and not the law.
The Father's commandment is to believe in His Son, Ha Makom, the Place. He is in Father and Father is in Him, with the Holy Spirit, in the Holy of Holies.
Here is the problem with your reply. You keep redefining the argument so you can avoid what Jesus actually said.
First, asking “where is this being preached” is a dodge. Truth is not measured by how popular it is. Jesus Himself said many would preach a wide and easy way that leads to destruction, while few walk the narrow way (Matthew 7:13–14). The question is not where it is preached, but whether it is true according to Christ’s words.
Second, no one said the law saves. That is a straw man. The law exposes sin. Grace forgives sin. But Jesus never taught forgiveness without repentance or belief without obedience. He said plainly, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Grace does not replace this. Grace makes it possible.
Your own argument actually proves the point. You say grace gives room for repentance and forgiveness. Correct. But repentance means turning. Forgiveness without turning is not repentance. Jesus began His preaching with, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). Grace that does not lead to repentance is not the grace Jesus preached.
You speak of belief, but belief alone is not enough. Scripture says it directly: “Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well: the demons also believe, and shudder” (James 2:19). Even the devil believes. Belief without obedience does not save. Jesus said, “Why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46).
As for the Father’s commandment to believe in the Son, Jesus Himself defined what that belief looks like. “He that heareth My word, and believeth Him that sent Me, hath eternal life” (John 5:24). Hearing His word means receiving it and keeping it. And again, “If a man keep My word, he shall never see death” (John 8:51).
So no, grace does not save apart from transformation. Grace saves by producing repentance, obedience, and a changed life. Anything else is belief without fruit. Jesus already told us how that ends: “Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire” (Matthew 7:19).
That is not law saving. That is Christ judging by His own words.
