Come on. You quoted the verses. You can't remember your own posts. Review post #5140.
Paul says to his audience that all would not sleep before the rapture occurred. Did he actually believe this?

Paul does not say that all would not sleep before the rapture. The word rapture isint even in the Bible. If you read the Latin version its only mentioned once. And not the verse you are referring to.

What do you have that says the Resurrection of the Church occurred prior to the death of Paul's audience?

I didn't say it wasn't a true doctrine. But it sure sounds like the apostle thought it was imminent. So imminent that not everyone he was talking to would be dead when it occurred. Hmm. Did he get this wrong or did it occur as he proposed?
Cameron....

What and when is the Millennium?

What is the Rapture and when?

Please, tell us again for those who missed what you said.

Don't slip loose and change the subject.

Yea, I don't get into insults sad people have to?

I guess it makes them feel big?

You know me so well, but still have not shown me what I said that was in error?

Come on dude, show me or stop with all of the theater.

Let me ask you, have YOU received the Holy Ghost since you have believed???

Acts 19
King James Version
19 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

How about telling me about your self so we can know each other better.

Since I have been filled with HIS spirit it's JESUS who leads me, sure I listen to men follow JESUS and HIS word. Are you one I can follow?

I for sure am not perfect and when you show me what I said that goes aginst HIS word then we will both know what I messed up on.

So HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YOU HAVE BELIVED???

If so explain what happened, and show me my errors.

I am not the one to show you your errors.

You need to find a solid pastor who knows what he is doing...
Then sit in a pew and listen in privacy and learn what you have been failing to see.

Be happy to do so when you show me the relationship between the book of Deuteronomy and the book of Revelation.

You are a B.S.er.

You come here to disrupt and think you are clever.

That's all you have proven yourself to be.

If you do not like what I say?

Look at the verses posted in posted #5140. Tell me if you believe Paul is telling his audience that some of them will be alive and caught up with Jesus in the air.

No I'm not. Until an individual understands that the book of Deuteronomy is about the inception of a covenant and Revelation is the ending of said covenant, they will never understand references to end times being an end of a covenant, and not the end of all things. So if you aren't undergirded with a basic understanding, all further attempts at doctrine will be in error.

1.Put your mouse cursor over the post number.
2. Right click.

3. Then copy address.
4. Paste address in your post so we do not have to wade backwards till we find it.

It is that easy.

For someone who has botched up his doctrines in a very misleading way?
We don't need your advice.
Wisdom is justified

You need to find a good teacher (if you can) and to sit on your hands before you get your thinking straight.
Until you can?
You come here only to disrupt with a smiley face.

All puffed up you are, telling people how to live their lives and what they need to do.

Since the only thing I have done is share sctiputure and you can't point any of my errors because I din't make any!!!

A little deceiving arn't you!!

Did you know being filled with the Holy Ghost is a part of being reborn? John 3:5.

Since you will not say you have it, I'm guessing you don't.

So I ask you HOW WERE YOU BAPTIZED??

I get it. You were taught by someone you trusted and have defended the position for a long period of time, so you feel invested in the position. Rather than looking at scripture with fresh eyes, you simply reject instead of examining. But I still would be interested on your take of the relationship between the books of Deuteronomy and Revelation.

Yeah after his second comming. The one in thesalonians are talking about tribulation saints.

The second one is also to tribulation saints. The bible speaks to believers of all ages. He is addressing believers with a futuristic point of view. When he says we will not all sleep means some will be awake. Because he is addressing the entirety of belivers from the ones listening to the ones alive at his second comming.

The one in Corinthians never says the words caught up so its irrelevant to you question anyways.

So let me ask you.. what do you think we are waiting and hoping for now? His third return? Where is His throne here on earth now? I want to make a pilmagridge.

So you don't trust that JESUS will remove your sins when we obey and get baptized in HIS name?

I love all of HIS word but what does 1 John 1:7 have to do with being baptized?

It does say if we walk in the light, how do we walk in the light?

How do you think we get rid of our sins?
I'm saying that I was baptized in the Way, the Truth, and the Life, which is, in its very essence, the Name of Jesus.

Was you, something new? Where does that come from when did it start?

Never seen anything like it in HIS word?

Don't you think the words we use is important?

Of course. Jesus said, "I am the Light...," and I'm walking in the Light.

Or...he is talking about the 1st century and meant the very people he was writing to.

In Matthew 23:36, is Jesus saying all the things he mentions will come upon that generation. Does He mean they will occur 1st century?

We shouldn't be focusing on His return. We should be focusing on building His kingdom. He will return, but it will not be anytime soon.

What do you believe the book of Revelation is about? When in time is referring to?

The initiation of the prophecy occurred 1st century, yes, I can see that. However, the cross reference of Luke 13:31-35 facilitates a broader view of the culmination of it. That is, is there a distinct time that Jerusalem has ever said, "Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord."?

I can do just like you do.

I read my Bible and know what the truth is.

I don't need you.

Right?
