Honestly the most non-Christian thing I’ve read on here. This guy is literally worthless.

Except in the parable Jesus told he never mentioned the planter of the seeds doing anything to the soil so in this instance the soil was the main factor because some fell on good soil others did not, just going ty the parable the soil was the deciding factor of the seeds being able to grow
No that isn't what I am saying what I am saying is that the condition of the heart or soil in this case was the deciding factor in which the seed planted would prosper. So you're saying it's none of our fault if the seed planted in our heart doesn'turn out well or dies? We have to accept the condition of our soil and do nothing about it? *Sigh....* I'm just going to listen to God....

We ourselves as the soil must be ready and able to recieve otherwise it falls on soil and sprouts quickly but soon shrivels up
We don't decide what kind of soil we are because God is the one who knows whether or not the heart is able to recieve but we ourselves do not decide this otherwise we could simpl choose salvation of our own decision and this is not the case in reality becaus has to draw us or plant the seed first
Then depending on the condition of the heart we may recieve it or not
Imm ok no idea why it is such an issue for you but if you cannot have a decent discussion then that is on youSorry, I'm no longer listening - I'm not interested in this topic anymore.

I was thinking about it before posting it, but I stand behind my words. Go through his history of posts, he never contributes anything, absolute waste of space on this forum. He never refutes any arguments, never presents any arguments, never interacts with anything or anyone. Complete trolling or passive aggressive snarky sarcastic remarks. Now THAT is non-Christian behavior.Honestly the most non-Christian thing I’ve read on here.

There’s a big difference between calling his comments or behavior worthless and calling him worthless. He, no matter if he’s trolling or not, is worth Christ giving His life. Neither you or I are worth any more or any less than him. Now as for his contributing wealth of his posts, I’d probably agree with you.I was thinking about it before posting it, but I stand behind my words. I wish I could figure out why the discussion of reformed doctrine sends some people almost immediately into personal attacks. Instead of misrepresenting what we believe, people could be more open to try to understand. There’s a big difference between calling his comments or behavior worthless and calling him worthless. There’s an ignore button if one doesn’t want to see his posts or one could simply not read them. And I hope you’re not trying to use Jesus cursing a tree as an excuse to hate those that don’t bear fruit or aren’t growing as you think they should be.He doesn't grow though.
Jesus gave us a visual example of what He does to unfruitful people when He cursed the fig tree that was barren.
You've only been here since November 2025, but others have known him from how he is in his many vacuious posts since 2023.
I don't hate him - he can be funny at times - but I admit most of his posts are unhelpful and understand why @Hakawaka would be fed up with his useless posts.
Jesus did curse that unfruitful fig tree to llustrate to His disciples what He will do to Christians who don't grow and mature in Him.
Yes, we have value because God made us in His image, but He expects growth and bearing good fruit - something good to impart in our posts to inform, to exhort, and warn others in the case of these forums.
And well....he really hasn't done that in most of his posts. And his last post shows he really hasn't learned anything from @Hakawaka .

It's a great feature. I've used it on many... ;-)There’s an ignore button if one doesn’t want to see his posts or one could simply not read them. And I hope you’re not trying to use Jesus cursing a tree as an excuse to hate those that don’t bear fruit or aren’t growing as you think they should be.

I simply said that calling someone worthless was not Christian and yes I consider it quite hateful to do so. You replied with the story of Jesus cursing the fig tree as if it was an excuse for us to curse others. I’ve never said that we shouldn’t correct others or attempt to show them their errors.I'm not using Jesus to hate people, but if he really does say he follows Jesus, he should be growing and maturing in Christ, not constantly posting snarky remarks since 2023. Are you or he not mindful that Jesus is really among us? You both act like He's not.
You claim it is hate to tell people what Jesus will do to people who refuse to bear fruit, but it is actually love. We're to warn and exhort each other to grow in Christ, not tell people it's okay to remain fruitless and let them face the bad consequences of their fruitlessness. THAT is hate, not love for the brethren.

Personally, I think predestination strengthens faith, rather than weakens it. I'm not fully on board with Calvinism, but maybe learning to lean on Calvinism with caution.
It's a crazy rabbit hole to jump in, but rings true in my mind.
