And, we are not.
Right?
No most people just try to tell oth
And, we are not.
Right?
No.
And, we are not.
Right?
And, we are not.
Right?
Virtually every Christian gets dunked.
Hard to say how many actually trust in Christ ALONE........My money is on Christ alone, not my dunking.
It is THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Not Jesus.Isn't it trusting JESUS that HE removes our sins when we get baptized in HIS name?
Isn't it trusting JESUS that HE removes our sins when we get baptized in HIS name?
Why do you think I'm insane?
Thanks for sharing, but that wasn't the question. Certainly Jesus knew that all men have a sinful nature. The question was: did He know of their particular frailties and sins?
Did some pastor tell you that?Isn't it trusting JESUS that HE removes our sins when we get baptized in HIS name?
While I agree that context is important, most people aren't considering context. Rather, they are simply interpreting passages to agree with what they already believe. This was your question ........
"How come all means every single person in some cases but means mankind as a whole in other cases?"
Because it all depends upon the context.
Because of who the comment is intended for,

The question was what He knew in John 2.Each sin pierced Him while he hung on the Cross.
That Father knows each and every sin you will commit - and have committed.
During this period on the Cross Jesus was crying out in agony - -
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?”
that is to say, “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46
While on the Cross the Father poured unto Jesus every single sin of mankind.
Not one single sin went unscathed by God's justice!
We should all be on guard against private interpretation. You see something wrong with doing it that way?
Such as?The question was what He knew in John 2.
We should all be on guard against private interpretation.
The question was what He knew concerning what was in all men.Such as?
John 2On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him. After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days. When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?”Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.
......... The question was what He knew in John 2?
.......
The question was what He knew concerning what was in all men.
At least make an attempt to follow discussions.
We should all be on guard against private interpretation.
You know, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. You can do better.Well I had been so busy studying the Millennium, and have been trying very hard to see your concept as being valid.
For I know you are never wrong.
Also.. The Rapture? I keep seeing it all wrong. Because I know what you told me. What you said it is must be right, too.
So, why get myself bogged down with another deep insight of yours?
When I can not reconcile what you showed me with the other two?
Be patient with me. You are way too deep for me.
I was talking about being on guard against one's own tendency to do this. It's a personal scrutiny; not a scrutiny of others. Why should I bother? Surely you will see the error and jump in to make a correction.

And if you really want to understand eschatology, you will first have to understand the relationship between the books of Deuteronomy and Revelation.
