I really am new to the forum (I think, unless I took too many Ambien...) but I liked the comments. The internet is a difficult place, especially for sensitive topics. On top of that, moderators are really not better than the trouble makers who, I have noticed, are often witch-hunted. They become objects of derision and people get a power trip. I've been in that situation in real life when it seems funny to threaten someone's job and gossip and I not only did not speak up, but I gave into it.

You know the moderators have their own secret areas and threads. Why?
They can come up with a million and one excuses and that is all it is. Websites are privately owned and free to do as they please, but what moderators of a forum do is not the practice of a jury in a free society.

Is a web-board being protected from bias with rights that important? No really, but I think the secrecy is a breeding ground for destructive gossip and rumors.

Interesting take.
I couldn't find an emoji that could express my reaction.
I am also new here.

i understand sites have rules but i dont feel any christian site should ban anyone how is this showing christ love? instead i feel they should be told what they did and to correct their behavior we should forgive and correct not just ban and not tell the person what they did
So if you understand a site has rules, then you should be able to understand a site has the right to carry out those rules, just like banning someone if they break the rules. We all agree to the rules when we sign for this site (and anything else in life), so if we get banned for something we shouldn't do, how is that wrong? And by upholding and following rules, that displays Christ's love. This is a Christian site, so therefore honor and integrity is part of obeying rules. I can see your point about giving warnings if someone does something wrong, but at the sametime, we all have brains and common sense (hopefully), so use it.

Just read a few chapters of Isaiah this morning , this book really really calms and cheers me . I think chapter 29 verses 18-24 is pertinent to this subject , check it out brothers and sisters ❤️❤️❤️ .

-Obviously, some radicals will go to any length to disrupt society in general.
Sadly, it is being witnessed through the news media that Christians are being targeted
with actions of hate.

-It is commendable to see that this site can and will ban an adversary attempting to corrupt
God's followers with undesirable intentions.

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." - John 15:18-19

We should never be surprised that the world will always push some sort of evil agenda toward Christians.
